Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, my clumsiness is 100% disability-related, so even my appreciation for the vast expense of the device only helps so much. In other words, all my days are bizarre and stressful, lol.

I have an Otterbox on my13 ProMax that has been on there since day one 2 years ago. No screen protector. My 15 Pro Max is arriving in a few days and I’d like to get a leather folio case, but…4 cats and leather is a target 😕

Because of my work environment I use a case and screen protector that keep my iPhone in pristine condition ready for a trade in.

As of 10 minutes ago my 15 Pro Max is completely naked. Not used a case for a few months now, even when out. No case when on a trip to Rome and a trip to Glasgow. I say 10 minutes ago as my screen protector “came up” on the corner and I said when that happens I’m not replacing.

I have a standard folio case from this company(OCase) and the favt that I had to take my phone out of the case to use on a tripod led me to order this. Should receive it on Thursday. The leather on the first, different case is okay (arbitrarily I’ll say 7/100). I’ll post some pics when it arrives on Thursday and give my opinion.

In usual order I have gradually and now basically totally ditched the case after 1,5y (black 14PM). Can’t deny how much nicer it is without and just want to enjoy it. Yes yes I will suit myself if I drop it.

I notice how more careful I handle it, where I put it, or if to pull it out of the pocket at all. Think it’s just a mindset.

Will put the case on again in extraordinary situations which are very risky… like mountain climbing or while repairing a vintage car.

Do whatever you are most comfortable with, but try to enjoy as much as possible.

Well, I won't ignore the fact that iPhones are expensive, so breaking one is kind of a bummer, and because of that, any type of protection is welcomed. For me, it's not about the looks but more about the practicality.
