I don't see a lot of folks recommending Apple silicon cases. Those have been my go-to choice forever, partly for the protection without adding the bulk of other cases like Otterbox, and partly for the grippiness. My only gripe with the Apple silicon cases is the $50 price. Seems a little steep. Amazon cases are very hit-or-miss and I never can remember which ones I liked and which ones I sent back or gave away.

Hi 👋 Pitaka 👍
Very popular brand for iPhone cases. Lots of users on this forum use this case a lot- I like that colour and the sunset one!

I rotate iPhone cases every few weeks to every few months.

Got two recently with pressed flowers, Delilah branded:

Will be switching to the gold and yellow flower one once it’s graduation week

I used to love Apple silicon cases when I had my 12PM - 14PM. I always had difficulty getting the phone in and out of my work pants so I gave up on the cases. It definitely was grippy though. The price didn’t bother me as much, since the case protected my phone.

That extra grippiness was good for me. I preferred to carry my phone in my t-shirt pocket and the silicone case kept it from sliding out when I leaned over. Now, however, with my return to Pro Max phones the t-shirt pocked carry is not practical.

I'm looking for an open bottom like the pitaka cases. It seems they are not bothered about making a case for 16e, I've asked them a few times and they've told me pretty much that

Oh no! Sorry about missing that! As for the Pitaka and Benks cases, Pitaka hasn’t released the iPhone 16e version yet. But guess what? Benks Armorair has it for your iPhone, but the downside is that it has a closed bottom.

Preferably a slim one too. The benks armor air looked good even though not completly open, the side buttons were open at least, but its not available for 16e
Dude my bad benks don’t have it for 16e so thanks for the correction. Pitaka not that one either. I even checked case mate, Apple, spigen, no luck.

Yes. Ever since my first iPhone, I have used a case. I think people who don’t use a case are crazy. I’m currently rockin a slim case with a circle kickstand. I wish I discovered kickstand cases years ago.

Whenever I get a new iPhone I typically buy one or more of Apple's silicone cases. My iPhones don't leave the store without a tempered glass screen protector and a case. This time I was at a Verizon store, not my usual Apple Store, so when I upgraded to the 16 Pro Max I took what they had for cases. Clear TPU MagSafe case. This case has full protection for the camera and I find I'm loath to give that up. I'm considering a Stone Grey silicone case from Apple but the $50 price tag is kind of steep for what you get. Guess I'll stick with what I've got for now.

I used to be big on cases and would not use my phone without one. I changed cases sometimes depending on the days and seasons meaning I sometimes had 10+ for each phone I upgraded to. When I upgraded to the 15PM, I noticed the cases stopped catching my attention with the colors becoming bland and I was looking for the thinnest case possible, and wasn’t able to find one until I found the Süti phone back.

From there I moved onto skins and stopped using the phone back. Now I am perfectly happy using just a skin and glass tempered screen protector from here on out. I’m more aware on how I’m handling my phone and where I sit it down at, to prevent damage.

Its saved me numerous times. Most extreme example was returned from the beach and was shaking out the sand from beach bag on first floor balcony. Forgot phone was in the pocket. It fell onto tarmac below an was completely undamaged.

15PM îs the first phone i've been using without a case. It looks like new after almost two years.
The phone feels good in the hand and not so big and chunky. But I do use a Vetter glass screen protector.
Same for me except I use ESR screen protectors and whatever color skin I feel like using for the moment. Right now I’m using cherry red.
