Have you found one that’s similar size to the Apple Bumper for the Air?
Rhinoshield Mod NX for Air

Interesting, I looked on Amazon for “17 Max Bumper” but could hardly find any of them that leave the back exposed. The few that do seem to have terrible reviews. Is there a bumper you recommend / are using for the Pro series? 🙂

Rhinoshield’s bumper is well reviewed out there for the 16 line. For the 17 they added camera control protection. No reviews on the 17’s bumper yet that I could find yet.

I have this bumper for my silver 17PM that I put on for a couple hours on day 1. I took it off because I have glass protectors on the back and front.

Year round Halloween vibes for me! Velvet Caviar.

I tried but i've realised (again) that cases aren't for me. Got a basic case to use from launch day.

But i just found it made the phone extra cumbersome. Even when i handed the phone to friends to check out, the immediate remark was 'oh its quite heavy'.

I've decided to forgo a case and use a skin instead.

I like how it wraps around the edges and corners. What brand is this? Website?

That’s exactly how I feel. I love using skins and MagSafe phone backs over cases. I have 2 skins I’m waiting for QSkinz to ship out this week and I’ll be set for the rest of the year.

I’m really conflicted. I bought a bunch of clear cases off of Amazon for my orange 17 Pro Max and I’ll return the ones I don’t keep (the $10 ESR case is pretty good so far) for the times I travel and worry about using my phone caseless, but I really hate having a case on my phone. I also go the Terra Cotta silicon case and the stupid magnetic strap in orange but I don’t know if I’ll ever actually use that or if I just wasted $100.

I’d love to get a good clear skin or orange skin even, but Dbrand doesn’t have any right now. Or maybe a good low-key bumper with an exposed back like the Air so I can have it on the strap when I go to concerts and don’t have a bag.

I loved using skins on my 4S, 5S…but there was no such thing as MagSafe charging at the time. Fast forward to now, which keeps me from using a skin. I’m on the QSkinz website now and found a color I’d love to apply to my 16P….how are the skins using MagSafe charging and accessories…?

I’ve been using my phone caseless for a week now and I’m really used to it that I really don’t want to put a case back on again….

I’ve never had any issues with using MagSafe with their skin. I’ve never used any case except a MagSafe phone back (covers on the back of phone) from Süti. I too do not like using cases so I’ve resorted to using skins and MagSafe phone backs.

Ok thank you! I’m going to order a skin for my phone today

It is perhaps also worth pointing out that if anyone is at all worried about the MagSafe adhesion, you could just buy cheap magnet ring stickers and add them overtop of pretty much any case or skin. They may not be quite as aesthetically pleasing as the unadorned case/skin, but your phone is certainly more likely to stay put.
