I'm more excited that I can finally rock my 12 Pro without a case. It isn't slippery to me. The 6 through 11 design was just like a bar of soap for me. Last time I had a phone that didn't need a case? The 5. It is a mind-blowing upgrade from my X? No. But I'm happy with it.

I upgraded from an 8 Plus to the 12 Pro Max. It's been less than a day but I'm loving it so far! Display is huge and beautiful. And everything is so silky smooth and fast, I don't see why people made a big fuss about it not having a 120 Hz refresh rate.

You people need to stop talking up the mini. ;-p

Seriously though - that’s the phone I really wanted, and would love based on size, but typing on the smaller devices is a joke for me, and talk to text is not an option because it sucks.

That being said, I was on the fence about the 12 after I got it, but the longer I’ve had it, the more I love it.

I know when I finally see a mini in person, I’ll be jealous and want it, but I just don’t think a super small phone is in the cards for me.

I'm happy with my mini, though it has areas where it can be improved. I would buy it again for sure. It doesn't satisfy everything that my previous 1st gen SE could do because it's just bigger and heavier, but it has some advantages that the old phone didn't such as more than double the battery life, much easier/more accurate typing because of the larger screen dimension, ultrawide camera and vastly superior front camera. I own an iPhone 11 as well and to me 12 mini > original SE > 11.

I like 12 pro max better than 11 pro max. Tge most I like is the solid case. I cannot say that I like everything. I do not really like:
-1 No 5G in dual SIM mode
-2 Warmet than 11 pro max
-3 Heavy ( should be ok in a week for me)
-4 Screen is yellowish

The novelty of a new phone wears off in about a week and just becomes another device.
I loved my first gen iPhone because it was an iPhone.

I tolerated the 3GS because it was much more usable but hated that bulbous plastic back.

I absolutely LOVED my white 4S and held onto it until the 6 came out. I was sad to let the 4S go and missed it for years.

The 6 felt big light and thin (and slippery) but nothing to write home about.

The 7 was more of the same.

X is/was gorgeous and the future (and big and heavy) and I really really liked it but not like that 4S.

I LOVE my 12 mini.

I adore my 12 mini!! I’m usually very critical about everything (and you can see it in my writeup when I first got it) but this phone is absolutely delightful. It’s so nice, and cute, and the white is so pretty. I don’t regret it one bit - worth every penny.

Oh, I hit the FaceID + mask bump today, so that was disappointing. But everything else makes up for that.

It's weird, with all the options this year it's hard for me to feel like one phone truly rises above the rest. Each have their pros and cons.

I've used a 12 pro, regular 12, and now a mini. Debating between the mini and 12 pro. I like the slightly larger display, better cameras, and more RAM/battery on the 12 pro. I love the feel and ergonomics of the mini - it's so easy to handle and lightweight. I dislike the weight of the 12 pro, and am a little unsure how the 12 mini battery will hold up.

Last year, it was pretty easy for me to go 11 pro - great battery, cameras, ergonomics. This year is a little harder.

I see a ton of negativity going around. Not that unusual for a tech site but where's the light at the front of the tunnel?? My family and I got all four models. Mini for my son. He doesn't know about it until I set it up for him. One of my daughters got the 12 pro which she loves especially since she didn't get any iphone last year lol. My other daughter got my iphone 11 pro max , (im crying on the inside). BUT my daughter who got the 12 pro has to choose between that phone and a Samsung phone. If she choose the latter the 12 pro goes to my dear wife im got the max which is temporarily sleeping at a ups store until tomorrow..... I'll give our impressions of the phones once we've have them for a bit longer. If you love your phone. Please tell me about it and why. Thanks!! Oh and the iPhone 12 is in limbo as it may go to my son if he wants a bigger phone and the mini goes bye bye
I got my 12 Max pregnant. If that helps.

Had the 11 PM when it came out, switched to the Note 10+, and now am back with the 12 PM. I am loving it! Great phone, Pacific Blue is very subtle and beautiful. I'm not a gaudy person so the refined look of the Pacific Blue fits me well. The size doesn't bother me at all as it is just a tad smaller than the Note 10+ (almost not even noticeable).

Phone is fast, battery life is great, and I love what they've done with the iOS in the time that I was over on the Android side of the fence.

First iPhone I've ordered on launch day and yesterday was like a mini-Christmas when I got it in and cracked open the box

12PM is a nice upgrade from the 11PM. Love the sides, the camera and the video. Impressed.

Ya know, it’s funny. I’ve been one of those guys saying, “Who needs 120 Hz on a tiny phone screen?!”

But since getting my 12 Pro—which has a much bigger and taller screen than the 6S I had been using—I’ve noticed text gets pretty blurry when scrolling (especially on the News app).

It’s hardly a deal-breaker, but I have a better appreciation for the folks who have been clamouring for this feature now that I see what scrolling looks like on this larger, higher contrast screen.

No complaints here. My new phone is great. Went for the regular evening walk and tested out the camera. Really nice shots in low level light. Feels good in the hand.

Yeah I like my mini much better than my X. It's very compact, surprising fast (ffs it's ever faster than my 2016 15-inch quad-core i7 MBP!), and the camera is a banger. HoweverI'm still a bit skeptical about the battery life. Let's see how it goes.
