I really love my mini. I never bought an iPhone, was using a 6s that my work lent to me 3 years ago, I feel into the excitement because it was announced at a size that seemed to fit really well and the 6s started to give in and I didn't want to invest my money in fixing it as it's not mine.

As a user who has had every iPhone, the 12 Pro is my favorite iPhone ever. The form factor, the speed, the camera. My favorite ever with the X and 5S tied for second.
To me, the 12 family is the first iPhone that’s looked nice in several years.
YES.....I LOVE my Silver 12 Pro Max! I dont have any complaints about it. I couldn’t ask for a better iPhone.
I switch back and forth between iOS and Android often. I had an XS Max, then a Pixel 4XL now an iPhone 12 Pro Max. Love the pro max thus far (had it less than 24 hours)
Got myself a thin clear case for the Max today which smoothes the sharp edges a little. So much better now
I bought an 11 Pro Max on launch day last year (yes, I usually upgrade every year), and when the 12 Pro launched before the 12 Pro Max this year, I convinced myself that I didn’t need the larger phone and ordered the 12 Pro. It arrived, and is a great phone but I missed the battery life of the larger phone and I’m always victim to the siren song of an improved camera. So I ordered the 12 Pro Max and sold the 12 Pro (supply constraints meant I was able to get back what I paid for it). Picking up the 12 Pro Max, coming from the 12 Pro, felt like coming home. Big screen, great battery life, and there’s a 5G UWB tower across the street from me, so when I am near the windows I get blazing fast 5G in my apartment. I like big phones and I cannot lie.
Went from XS Max to 12 Pro Max. It's bigger than I anticipated at first but I absolutely love it now. It was uncomfortable yesterday when I tried a bumper case I got from eBay, and then I tried caseless and it was a little better. I've since started using the Apple Leather case (saddle brown) and now it feels perfect. Feels like Goldilocks and the Three Bears and the leather case is "just right".
I thought I was going to go caseless at home and maybe use the leather case when I go out, but the leather case is so nice in the hands and gentle on the edges, that I think I'm going to use it all the time. It's tempting to go buy a California Poppy one now as well, but I'll use the saddle brown well and when it gets too worn I'll upgrade my case again.
It's SO fast, even compared to my XS Max, and the screen is beautiful. Went for a walk today and tested out the 5G (Verizon) and it was awesome and fast. I'm loving the phone now.

I've loved 2 iPhones the Original iPhone 5 SE and the 11 Pro Max. I still love them both, but I think the Mini will really be loved as my daily cary, and the 12 Pro Max looks beautiful as well and I'm sure it's camera capabilities will inspire love as the 11 Pro Max has. I really only need the 11 Pro Max and 12 Pro Max for photography so they can fail in many other ways and it makes no difference to me.... but the Mini it has to do it all except photography, but I expect it will be great at that too, if some what limiting like all phones are. I think Apple scored big with the 12 Series. I don'[t see anything to be negative about that is really about the phone, expect maybe the price of the Mini. All the other negatives relate back to Apple and the eco system for me, but they have all been known for years.
Coming for the XS max I’m loving the 12 pro max!! No complaints at all!
I "just" have the plain old 12 regular and I'm loving it, yes. Best iPhone I've ever owned. Beautiful to look at, light, big screen, fast, good camera set-up. Virtually perfect.
Loving the mini so far! Coming from an 11 pro and it is so much lighter and more stable in my hand.

this was the first time is didn’t “spend up” to have the best of the best. I settled for the iPhone 12 because I couldn’t justify a better camera and lidar. I’m absolutely in love with the 12 minus some cellular issues. Verizon told me they were ready for 5G so I turned 5G off until it’s better.

Its a good upgrade from my X. A few migration issues that I can't seem to figure out a workaround so I have to go the apple store on Monday and hopefully get it sorted. Then CarPlay won't connect in my car so after its off to BMW for them to enable the smart key and get CarPlay working.
Either way it's an excuse to drive my new car! 😂

Just made the same jump today. Originally ordered the Max but it was just not pleasant to use. The mini is the size I really wanted so I made peace with losing some camera features and made the switch. It’s only been a few hours but I am liking the smaller form factor so far!
Truly enjoying the 12 pro max. It’s absolutely a joy to surf the web and watch videos on. Plus, I can’t seem to kill the battery in one day!
The last time I was this excited was the original iPhone, iPhone 4, and 5. X was cool and Xs max was probably my least favorite. But the 12 PM.... I do love. Sure, it’s a bit big, but the benefits make it worthwhile for me. I hope they continue to make this size in the future!

Return the regular 12 Pro for the 12 Pro Max. Loving it, still on the first charge with plenty of battery left.
