Gone from 7 plus to 12 pro max. Love the increase in quality and do not find it that much bigger. My Pacific Blue is a thing of beauty and I amazed by the differences in technology between the two.

I’m spending how much again on this primed plus apple care? I better freaking love it.

anyway camera is a step up from my car max. Low light of course is great and I love the wide angle lenses.

speaker is load! Wow it sounds deeper and fuller than the xs. Battery life is great. 14 hrs of heavy use and it dipped to 17% by bed time. This is with YouTube streaming via WiFi and lte. Screen is bright love that. Also big screen. I’m getting used to the size but I’m finding the apple leather case helps make it comfortable.

finally it’s really weird to hold my xs max now giving to my wife. It looks small lol and it’s so comfortable. But I’ll adjust. The pros are really great.

Coming from an Xr, I do love this mini. I went from 6 to Xr and liked the extra screen space, but over time I started to dislike the size and heft of the Xr. My all time favorite was the 4s and this mini is very similar in design to that so I’m quite thrilled. After a full day of use with the mini, I don’t feel like the smaller screen size has made any difference to me which was my biggest concern of getting the mini.

I’m still unsure if I would’ve rather liked a telephoto for the second camera as opposed to wide but Wide it’s nice sometimes.

got a 12 Pro Max. previous phone was a Google Pixel 3A XL. the last iphone i had was the 4S back in 2011 which i kept until 2013. until 2 days ago it was the most expensive phone i ever bought at £600 (if i remember correctly). the 12 Pro Max cost double that at £1,200 (Graphite 256gb).

i'm really enjoying the iPhone. i guess i was tired of buying cheap mid range Android phones and wanted a premium flagship phone again. i've been wanting to come back to iPhone for a while but there was always something that put me off. the 12 just felt like the right time to jump back in.

i haven't taken any photos/videos yet so can't talk about that. general usage of the phone has impressed me. i was worried about leaving the Google ecosystem but it has been painless. i can do pretty much everything i could do on my Android. there are some things to get used to but not major problems. the phone syncs between my PC quite well. i'm using Firefox on Windows and all my icloud stuff is accessable on here too. i've never actually used an iPhone with Windows before. back when i had my 4S i had a MacBook.

battery life on the Pro Max is impressive. out the box it was ~90% charged and i've been setting it up/playing about with it and i'm still got 41% battery roughly 24 hours later. it'll be interesting to see how it is a week from now once i start using it normally and the phone has had time to optimise stuff and learn how i use it.

tl;dr: first iPhone in 7 years and really enjoying it.

Forums are biased in that way. People who are dissatisfied are much more likely to post their opinion than people who don’t have a problem. Also tech aficionados tend to obsess more about large and small issues, being more emotionally invested. It’s part of the game.

This right here. When the iPad Pros with Face ID were released in 2018 you would have thought that they bent when you touched them. I still love mine.

My 12 Pro is great. The only complaint I have is that one of my Qi chargers doesn't work with it.

I upgrade every year and am loving the return of the squared edges. Using without a case again and I couldn’t be happier. I don’t find that the 12 PM is any heavier than my 11 PM and I’m finding it to be much easier to grip, and I have small hands.

I love my new Pro! For the life of me I can't identify one thing that is not to my liking. It's large enough for me to enjoy media, fast as lightning and I love the gold design. I'm not a gold person per se, but its understated enough to look good without going overboard.

Thank you for a positive thread.

I love my new 12 Pro Max. It’s delightful. I had a 11PM that I really loved but thought I’d try smaller and went with the SE2 and then the 12P. Now that I’m back to a Max, it feels right. I enjoy the screen, battery, camera, all the goodies. I love to visit the forums and find others who are sharing their fun, too. Please keep sharing. :)

I'm still getting used to my 12 pro max, I came from an 8+ which I had for over 2 years so the gestures and whatnot are messing with me a little bit, but I definitely love it. I love how huge it is and I manage it just fine even with my little elf hands(I'm sorry but there is NO way to say this without sounding nasty lol). I love the camera and I can't believe how good night mode is. I took some videos of my toddler today and the video quality is simply stunning. I love the color, I got the silver/white and the frosted back looks pearlescent. The whole thing just looks like jewelry. I love the squared edges. I even love Face ID, I thought this would be my one compromise since I was a diehard Touch ID fan for years but it works so well I forget it's even there. I just love everything about it.

The wedding is set for next spring 😅

Xs max to 12 Pro max....no regrets at all! Its slightly bigger and the Qualcomm modem is way better. No drop outs etc.

Plus the battery life is amazing!

Another 8+ to 12 Pro Max user here. So far I'm very happy with it. First time ever I have deviated from black/space gray. Thrilled they gave us Blue this year!

I went from an XS to a 12 Pro, is it a huge change? No, but it is a bit quicker, and I no longer have issues with the phone being full (64gb -> 128gb) Camera also gets a big thumbs up from me!

I am just waiting for 5G to be fully implemented, as the speeds are pretty pathetic.

Updating my "review" of the 12PM, coming from the 11PM.

Received on Friday launch day, quickly set it up, and then immediately took a 4 hour drive to Lake Tahoe for my birthday. Used GPS the whole way and didn't charge it until the next day.

I got back from Tahoe yesterday and last night was the first time I fully charged it for the first time. Assuming the phone had about 2 days to index, I unplugged the phone today at 8AM. Did not change my usage at all from the 11PM. Browsed social media, reddit, macrumors, took photos and videos, used GPS for 30 minutes, and am currently sitting at 73% with 4 hours of on-screen time at 6PM.

I've been worried about the smaller battery compared to the 11PM and the screen issues people have been discussing (glowing green, etc), but I have to say the A14 Bionic seems to be much better regarding optimization for the iPhone. This battery is still KING. I'm usually around 30%-40% on the 11PM around this time.

My screen also does not seem to have the glowing issue, but I have yet to do multiple tests. I did 1 test and it seems to be displaying true blacks.

I'm extremely happy with this upgrade. The retro design is killer although it feels a tad bigger than the 11PM, but it's a joy to use.

Received 12pm in Silver. Currently have a new XS that Apple replaced two weeks ago. Have to say my PM has yellow screen hint and I have same settings as my XS. Also speakers lack bass compared to my XS so not sure if I’m going to keep it or not. Bigger screen doesn’t seem to me much of an advantage and form factor of XS seems just right as I can type one handed. I’ll persevere though and see how I get on with it.

When the iPad Pros with Face ID were released in 2018 you would have thought that they bent when you touched them. I still love mine.
Same. FWIW, I have one of the ones that looks bent to the naked eye when you hold it up and look along the top edge or bottom edge, but where the glass is completely flat. It shipped to me that way. I've not had a single problem with it, and I do everything with it, from corporate work to drawing to watching movies and tv. I have no desire to upgrade, it's perfect as it is.

As for my 12 mini, I love that too. I don't have the swipe-up issue, probably because I don't use a screen protector, though I have a good case on it. I love this little phone more each day. I know some people are unhappy with the battery, but it has way longer life than my 8, and I'm still getting to the end of the day with over 30% with heavy use, so I'm pretty happy with that too.

Absolutely love my PB 12 Pro. Rocking the Plum silicone case with it and lovin the combo! Gave my MG 11 Pro, which was only three months old, to my wife and she’s over the moon with it too. Neither of us have ‘propper’ cameras atm so the cameras on both the Pros are very much appreciated 📷o_O👍
