Certainly, they do that with political articles. At least in some (quite a few!) countries.
For a while I was doing the mistake reading some of that: the best way to the hospital with either a stroke or an infarct.

My personal experience with buying used Macs is generally really positive.
I bought a lot of Macs for literally pocket money - especially iMacs - MacBooks not so much.

If you have a little knowledge you can make some bargains.
