I bought my Apple Watch mostly for gathering health metrics. It's great for that, but I would very much like the option of a ring-based sensor -- especially when sleeping. The Oura is unfortunately a subscription product, and it seems like Samsung's offerings don't really play with Apple very well. I'm hoping that Apple puts out their own ring wearable at some point. It wouldn't replace my Apple Watch, but I'd like to have the flexibility to go out wearing a regular wristwatch sometimes, and to gather sleep data without wearing anything on my wrist.

No that would be stupid. I do own a mechanical watch and I wear both equally, on days that I am wearing a suit I wear the mechanical watch. On days that is more casual and I am expected to move around a lot I wear the Apple Watch. At the gym I wear the Apple Watch. Going out I tend to wear the mechanical watch.

My opinion, it's overly pretentious double wristing. Pick one and stop looking like a douche.

Any one that wants to double wrist crack on, It is your perogative!
