Other Downsizing-any regrets?

Personally I love the pro max. Fits easily into most pants/jacket pockets and can even zip (I go caseless). I use it one hand a lot. Occasionally two. But mostly one esp when I commute.

and that’s the biggest thing. I commute a lot and so while I have an iPad, laptop, etc, it’s just easier to use my phone when I’m commuting and I prefer a larger screen.

I went to the 13 Mini from the X, and I’m really happy with the smaller phone. Smaller, lighter, and easy to use one handed.

If there’s one trade off worth noting with the Mini, it’s the cameras. If you really like the tele or macro cameras, they aren’t present in the Mini. Other than that though, the Mini is just the right size for me. I’m back to being able to use it one handed.

I can't. My eyesight won't allow me. Don't get me wrong, I have normal eyesight, but once I get used to the extra screen real estate, my eyes get used to it.

I never had a plus size or max phone, until the 13 Pro Max. I’ve had it for 3 days now and I mostly enjoy it. Typing is much nicer and the battery is amazing. I keep looking for negatives. A couple are struggling at times putting it in my pocket and one handed/ease of use.

I keep thinking I will grow tired of the weight and size. It causes some anxiety thinking I may regret it after my 14 days are up. I pickup my wife’s 13 Pro and it feels small. Crazy after only 3 days. But even though it’s “small” it feels more comfortable, natural. Not sure if that makes sense.

I’ve got 11 days to decide. Not sure what I’ll do but I keep looking for stock for the 13 Pro to pop up at a local Apple store. If I was betting on or against myself, I’d bet I’ll choose the comfort and peace of mind of the 13 Pro. Decisions, decisions…

I feel your ambivalence. I had an 11 Pro max for a year and a half... Generally, I did like it a lot. I did notice that when I spent a lot of time on the 11PM my wrist would hurt a little. I could have easily kept it but it was a big phone. After thinking a lot about it and doing research I got the 13 Pro. I like the smaller size and weight. I got an empty Amazon case for the 13 PM just to visually compare it in the hand to the 13 Pro... It's too big and I'm sure it's much heavier... I'm 99% likely to stay with the 13 Pro. The ONLY significant thing I miss about the max models is the extra battery but I can make do. Good luck.

I have used all the sizes over the years, recently went XS MAX > 12 Pro > 12 Mini.

I'm still on my trusty XR. I did use the Mini last year and enjoyed it minus the battery life. Will report back in a few weeks time.

So I’m happy with 6 hours SOT with the 13 mini. Don’t regret it now

Just got my 13 mini delivered, coming from a 12PM. So far really like not having that brick feeling in my pocket and not having to jumble around with my hand to reach parts of the 12pm screen.

Two weeks with the 13 mini and I've got no regrets trading in my 11 Pro.

I had the 8+ and now have had the 13 mini for 15 days. I have had plans to give to my daughter if it didn't work out. I struggled with the size and battery the first week. Once I fiddled with enough settings, my eyes adjusted to the size and battery leveled out about 10 days in, I found myself really enjoying it. I did order a 13 that will come tomorrow. I am not looking forward to the extra size and weight in my pocket or purse. The mini has been a delight. I may just return the 13 for another mini.
