Only issues I’ve had is that:
A: the Magnifier application keeps randomly crashing
B: the Safari view inside of third-party applications can get very laggy and slow.

Other than these it’s been smooth sailing on my Pro Max.
No heat issues, and I can’t really comment on the battery other than to say it is dramatically better than my 12 mini, even when limited to 80%.
Have you updated to 17.0.2 iOS and restarted your phone?

Get this....ladies and germs...got our Otterbox Defender Pro cases, Anker USB C cables to replace all lightning cables, Zagg XTR3 Glass Elite tempered glass screen protectors and two ESR Cryo Cool 2-in-1 Charging Stands which are our very first Magsafe products as well as Apple USB c to lightning adaptors for the car charger but still have to wait until 10/6 for our iPhone 15 Pro Max pre-orders to be picked up in-store... Now, ain't that a kick in the head...the Apple employee who grossly underestimated the Pro Max demand still has his/her job...where is the justice in that?

Awesome battery(12h sot on WiFi) and only overheats when charging. Everything is perfect except for one thing : the screen of my 15PM has a dead pixel :(

What do you love most about it? Any positive surprises? Unfortunately, we have to wait until 10/6 for our pre-order. Can't wait. No Pro Max inventory at any Best Buy for 200 miles around my city.
I love how much lighter it is than my 14PM.

The biggest thing I love is the lighter weight. I haven’t had a chance to test out the camera, but whenever I open up Safari, my pages do not reload anymore.

returning and buying a 15 pro if i can find one haha love the battery life on my 15PM but the size is just too big for me..

Same for me. I have a 15 Pro and battery life is enough for me on typical days (mostly 30-50% left) but I always want the best battery. It’s the same on bike computers etc. also reason I switched to Garmin coming from AWU.

My GF has the 15 PM but it’s so huge.

Probably stay with 15 Pro and maybe switch to 16 PRO next year hopefully with 6.3“

I remember when I got my 11 Pro Max it got hot as hell when first setting it up as it was transferring data and installing apps. In fact I had to take the case off because it was running so hot it was saying "iPhone will continue restoring when it has cooled down."

This is NOTHING NEW, iPhones have always run hot during setup and restore because they're doing so much.

I think I remember my 7 Plus doing it too, even.

Also, the phone feeling hotter means it has better thermals as it's dissipating more of the heat to the outside.
Agreed. My 7 ran very hot. I took it to Apple to get their opinion and they replaced it without any discussion. But this ran very hot for over a week regardless of whether I was using or charging it.

My 15 PM got hot enough to pause the restore from iCloud. I set it town for a brief period and it’s been fine since with no issues. Love it!

Coming from a OnePlus 10T. No complaints. Everything is so smooth and seamless. I love how my Apple Watch and AirPod just connects instantly. Coming from a lifelong Android user, I can see why people love iPhones, it just works.

While it's a walled garden, I love how seamlessly the iPhone, my MacBook Pro, iPad, and Airpods Pro 2 work so well together. Apple builds so much hardware and software that most don't update every year. They must be doing something right despite this fact by achieving the largest global market share.

Heh, you think that's bad, mine is estimated for mid-November.

I'm wondering if by then I'll just decide I don't need a new phone this year and just cancel the order and push through with my 11 Pro Max another year. I'd be lying if I said it was deficient in any real way for me right now.
