"Updated" last night to the official 9.0 release (took ages to download) Carrier update kicked in. Currently at 98% for 4hrs 34mins of standby and 29 minutes of use. The real test will of course be when I play music on the way home, which last night (before update on 9.1 PB) resulted in a ~1% drop in battery per song.
What version carrier settings should I have for 9.0?

Yup worked perfectly.

What a difference! Phone currently has 74% of battery left after 3hrs 14min use and 15hr 24 standby.

and I listened to Music for more than an hour, which would have killed around 40% of battery before.

Just giving it a go now! My 6+ battery used to drain so so badly, i had it in low battery mode all day to make it half acceptable but still was pretty poor

Hmm sounds like you are still running 9.1 Beta as that was the carrier I was on before moving back to the official 9.0 release.

When plugged into iTunes did it inform you that there was an carrier settings update to be downloaded? Mine did and job was a carrot.

Yeah I downgraded and it popped up on iTunes then upgraded again?

Does anyone still have this problem?

My 6S/Watch have both been fine until today when my O2 number ported over.

Since then, the phone has been running much warmer and BOTH iPhone and Apple Watch have gone from 100% to 0% in 7 hours.

I did do a backup/restore from my old 5S, so perhaps a fresh install would be a good idea?

Did you port from. O2 to EE?

Since the official launch of iOS9 and the EE carrier update it has been fine.

I moved to a 6S and have not had a problem either.

Interestingly though I have carrier settings 21.5 not 21.5 as I had on my 6.

If your phone is getting warm the first few days it is usually Siri indexing ... But it usually settles down

Yes, O2 to EE.

I've done a hard boot and am charging both now. I've also reset network settings on the phone.

I've not got a handle on how long the phone should last as I can only compare it to my 5S, with O2 (no 3G) so obviously that's going to be a totally different battery profile.

The Watch though is strange - I usually finish the day on 50-60% and today it went to 0% by 3pm.

Yes. 9.01 and Watch OS 2. Never run any of the betas.

From my "extensive" testing (i.e.: Saturday and Sunday) battery seemed fine. Only today it's gone splat and the only things different are a) my number ported today, and b) I used the phone far less as I was at work.

Now at 100%. I'm also going to switch of WiFI calling (for now) and see how it fairs on standby overnight.

Ok, I think EE was a red herring.

Did the reboot, and unpair/repair of Apple Watch. Switched off WiFi calling (for now)

Same time today as both iPhone and Watch were 0% yesterday and I have:

iPhone 87% remaining
Watch 85% remaining
