I have...

Boot ROM Version: MP61.0116.B25

Which seems to be pretty new. :( My nMP was built in Apr 2015.

Apparently there is a way of changing the Boot ROM. If you look in the e-gpu section of Nekas's forum I think I remember seeing something about it.

Thanks for that tip, I'll definitely give it a shot. I found the thread and instructions over there and will try it this evening.

Brought the Node to work and a co-worker was able to update the firmware on it using his Skull Canyon NUC. No idea if this will help, but at least it's now current.

Ahhhh I missed a setting. Yes let me go back and redo
[doublepost=1495213552][/doublepost]Ok. This one is a bit closer.
Not sure why my minimums took such a hit. May rerun it later on a 2nd time to see if there are any changes.

Awesome, thanks for sharing! When I get home I'm going to re-check all of my settings, I think I was an idiot and had v-sync enabled. I bet that's why I was seeing FPS capped around 60fps pretty steadily since my display is running at 60Hz. It was like...scary steady at 59-61fps for the vast majority of the benchmark. Whoops. So, I'll post up a new result tonight if that's the case.

I ran mine one more time and essentially received the same score, a slight improvement but nothing to write home about.
I don't believe you'll see much more than 60FPS either, I checked my setting, Vsync is off and this panel is a 75Hz panel and mine, like yours, pretty much stayed glued to 60.

Oh, I had v-sync enabled. haha Much better results this time in terms of max FPS. :)

@Yahooligan It's the mirrored display mode that slows things down. My nMP connects the dGPU via HDMI and eGPU via DisplayPort to one display. I made the eGPU connection display primary and move the dGPU display to the bottom.

Wanted to follow-up on this, disabling mirrored displays did help to restore 90% of the speed, the UI was still not as smooth as it could/should be when swiping between spaces, scrolling in Safari, etc. Disconnecting the dGPU restored the remaining 10% or so and the UI is as smooth as butter again.

Boot ROM downgrade is a no-go from B25.

I tried going to B21 - Mac just reset about 10 times before it chimed and booted back to B25.

Same with going to B20 and B17.

Darn. That's a shame. Nonetheless, thank you for looking into it and taking the time to try.

@Yahooligan which Boot ROM firmware is your nMP running? I haven't tried running Windows in my nMP yet but from my research, the older firmware versions is the key to get eGPU going.

I was just about to give up on eGPU and look into building a hackintosh when I stumbled across this thread. I got my nMp shortly after they were released (June 2014) and it has Boot Rom MP61.0123.B00. I would assume B00 is older than B17, B20, B21, B25, etc? Anyone have an idea of whether that could do the trick or not for getting the eGPU to work in Windows 10? May or may not be relevant but my Windows 10 is installed in UEFI mode on an external SSD (in another thunderbolt expansion chassis), and I boot to it via Clover.
