Just updated to GM (This machine is on the Public Beta channel).

About this Mac reports version 15A262e but when I open the app store it reports it wants to install PB 6????

What a mess. And exchange still broken on multiple macs.
Try this:

Quit the app store. Go to System Preferences - App Store. You should see a setting to allow pre-release software. Hit change, then choose "do not receive pre-release software." I did this and did not get a prompt for PB6

Has anyone successfully downloaded the GM on Yosemite? Whenever I press the Download button nothing happens.

It just says:

"Failed to download Aperture.

A server with the specified hostname could not be found. The application will be available from the Purchases page."

Even though I am downloading the GM.

I didn't download the update, but the App Store is telling me that I already have OS X v.10.11.

I have Version 10.11 Beta (15A278b) according to my ABOUT dropdown.

Got that too. You don't want to "continue." You want to go for the update and allow the latest build to install, re: GM. Did this just earlier. So far so good.

How's the GM build running so far guys?

Hopefully it's not the last GM. Mail crashes on launch. Seems to be a Gmail issue.

The install UI was a bit odd, it took way too long for the time remaining text to appear. Thought it had crashed.

Hopefully it's not the last GM.
This one still feels like beta 8 to me, just with a few traits you'd expect from a release build (dropping the word "Beta" from About This Mac, option to disable pre-release updates in System Preferences). I doubt it'll be the final build, especially since there were 3 Yosemite GM candidates last year.

Not having any issue with my Gmail account.

I guess this is a stupid question, but if you download the GM build and install over the PB.... I'm assuming you will still have access to the feedback app?

Same.

I get this message:

And I've never downloaded it. It's grayed out. I've reported it.

And check out the date. July 9, 2015??????

Maybe a silly question but I'm about to do a clean install of El Capitan, afterwards will I need to download pages, numbers, photos, iMovie etc or are these installed with the OS X installer?

Those apps are not bundled with the OS X installer (except Photos). You'll have to re-download them or restore from backup.
