I'm afraid they are.95/39 and you're faster than 99% of Australians? Are you for real?
My 4G is faster than that!
Wow... here in Holland (KPN) I see speeds up to 50 Mbps / 6 Mbps on what we call 4G here. Specially up looks heavily capped with little fluctuations.
Can't wait for OS X El Capitan! I have all my documents in iCloud and backup in an external drive. Ready for action (fresh install... of course)!
I was planning on moving to the US.
But I refuse to live in a house without Google fiber.
That makes 18:00 GMT.OS X El Capitan launches on Wednesday September 30, 2015 at 10:00 AM PT, 1:00 PM EST

I'm afraid they are.
Australian internet infastructure is really bad, and the NBN (National Broadband Network) is not going to be the improvement on that so many hope it will be.
The currently elected goverment opted for a FTTN (Fibre to the Node) configuration, rather than a FTTH (Fibre to the Home) configuration, based solely on the short term costs.
It is bad.. but there's always a way to get discounted corporate rates for regular peopleBut yes, to re-iterate, it is horrendous.
