It's an observation I made. You cannot say it got trounced when both had recognition errors. If Siri was trounced, the dictation would have to have been terrible and Androids would have to have been perfect.

The video made numerous points between Siri and Google Now and the only point that Siri is only even at is the only point you are focusing on.

Why don't you go munch on more :apple:

I never said it would never be supported. Another person putting words into my mouth. I was saying that NOW it isn't supported not that it would never be supported.

thanks for clarifying. appreciate it.

Google Now will support turning on/off LTE/wifi/data etc

Wow, I just tried compass mode on street view (didn't know about this before). This is blowing my mind away.

Cool!
I liked most that even though the guy had a marked accent, the program recognized almost perfectly what he wanted.

I don't know if that's an earlier build version, but on mine there is almost no hint of AI so far. Navigation in maps is also completely done in this new natural voice, and I have yet to hear any accent/AI-ness.

ok nice, but I'm referring to the real person asking the questions to the JB phone (sounds like a chinese accent speaking english)

i think everyone is confused ( or maybe I am ).

We have two things...a new google voice search and we have google now.

Google now displays information in cards and generates some of those automatically. Heres a video demonstrating from i/o: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUv_uZfLcWA

The new google search is an upgrade to the current google search that answers questions verbally and displays information in cards similar to google now. We all seen how it works so I won't go further there.
