Tazo is one of few companies that make quality bags. Something you wouldn't be disgusted to use. Numi and Harley and Sons come to mind, too. Finishing up some jasmine white tea, and just to play along, a single dark chocolate covered coffee bean. Eaten in misery. I hate these things.

You hate coffee beans covered in chocolate? Even dark chocolate?

Agreed, they are a little pretentious, but there are other chocolate offerings that I dislike a lot more.

Time to prepare some Kenyan coffee.

Yes. I'll eat them, but I often think they're raisins. There's nothing worse than enjoying the snap of dark chocolate surrounding what you presumed was a raisin, but what is a coffee bean. I wouldn't call them pretentious. They're easily found and been around for a few decades.

On my last trip to England, I went into a hand made sweets shop and sampled what I thought was a truffle, but was a licorice allsort covered in chocolate. That is pretentious. :p I like those. One of my favorite candies from when I was a young boy. Sadly, they're not made in the US. There is one sweets shop a couple hours away that does make them, but it's not the same at all.

On cinder toffee, another favorite of mine, it's hard to say who makes the best. The Dutch have lovely sweets, too. Provided you're careful not to consume herb infused ones...

Just sipping a very welcome second mug of (Kenyan) coffee this afternoon.

I picked up some Kenyan beans today from Whittard's of Chelsea. Not tried them yet. Spent the day at Cheshire Oaks with my lovely girlfriend for her birthday. (My poor wallet!!!)

The Kenyan Peaberry is stronger than Ethiopian Yirgacheffe but is not unpleasant. I took it with a dash of full fat milk and next time may either increase the milk dosage or grind the beans more courser.

Kenyan coffee is 'stronger' (or, more robust) than Ethiopian coffee, - but is the closest to it in terms of flavour, nose and taste - while Rwandan is stronger yet again.

A good cup of Rwandan coffee, all black.

Enjoy.

When you say 'strong' do you mean the overall flavor is strong and gives you a swift kick in the mouth or is it too intense and muddled?
