I must find and try this bean then.
You won't be disappointed. I am getting to the bottom of my coffee "blend" (including light roasted Arabian cardamom coffee) so will have to head to my local shops to get some more beans, may go for the Kenyan as well.

In Turkish style coffee, yes. I've never seen it used in drip, press or espresso.

Actually, I have, in Turkey and central Asia.

Cardamon is used - or, can be used, or served - in both tea and coffee. I have had stunning cardamon teas in central Asia, - done properly, they can take an age to prepare, - but they were absolutely delicious.

You must not get around!

Yes, I have never seen this until my travels took me to Turkey and further east.

Pray tell. Then again, I don't like cardamom, so it doesn't matter.

Ah, but in tea - or coffee - properly and carefully prepared - it can be quite lovely.

There's the crux of the matter.

Yes, it most likely is.

Now, while I like cardamon in my tea (as an occasional treat) and was intrigued to have it served in coffee, too be candid, this is far too labour intensive for me to contemplate the preparation of, even weekly, or monthly. I'm usually on semi-automatic pilot when preparing coffee.

Instead, I am more than happy to partake of it when someone offers it as something traditional in their culture.
