What a wonderful way to start the day - with a coffee and The Observer.

Personally, I'm pretty much a fan of The Observer, and buy it whenever I am home - abroad, I read the Guardian and Observer online, and have contributed (financially) to the Guardian; anyway, The Observer is the oldest extant Sunday newspaper in the world and it even reported on the death of Mozart in December 1791.

Had to reread your post to catch the "Sunday" part since I know of papers older. Yes, I do believe it is the oldest Sunday paper. I didn't know they reported Mozart's death. That's absolutely fascinating. I wonder if an example of that day's paper exists.

While I prefer The Telegraph, I do pay a subscription to a few papers. I suspect The Daily Mail is fantastic, too... for the compost bin. About all it's good for.

My favourite coffee at the moment is an espresso with a dash of milk. Short and to the point. Gone to quickly though....

On the subject of newspaper subscriptions, I'm a long time reader of the Times and have just negotiated a deal that is £34 for the next 3 months. And this week I'm also reading the Guardian as Sunday's Observer had a week of £1 off vouchers. I've tried digital but always come back to print...

That's why you make a triple. :)

Currently fiddling with this computer and drinking a cappuccino whilst installing some silly updates on my MBP next to me.

As the coffee was finished by the time I appeared for breakfast (a bit later than usual) a fresh pot of lovely Kenyan coffee was prepared for me. Hot milk and sugar to taste were added.

Needed a more brutal wakeup today. Strong Cappuccino it was.
Back to tougher training lately. Today, head was too tired to be awaken of recent and many Matcha Coconut drinks.
Cappuccino followed of a Latte Smoothie.
No coffe in it, but Caffe Latte protein etc.
Then off out into the summer :D

Ended up getting an Nespresso for my office (have one at home). I am not a fan of American drip coffee and sometimes getting over to Pino's for a nice Espresso can take too much time. Envivo Lungo or Ristoretto are two of my favs right now. However, they usually have some nice Ethiopia and coffees from India as well.

If you like Ethiopian coffee (and I do), I'd also recommend that you try Kenyan coffee; to my mind, it is a lovely coffee, close to Ethiopian, but somewhat 'warmer' and more 'rounded', a coffee where the 'clear, clean, bright' notes found in Ethiopian coffee are somewhat less pronounced, while still present.

I would like to have an Espresso machine that actually could make various coffee drinks iced just as fast as the hot ones.
Probably those very big machine can do that.
But home machines?

What kind of tricks do you have to make ice-coffee at home?

I would've wanted one today, because it's got very hot here very fast.
Kind of from winter to summer in 2 weeks of some kind of strange spring.
I usually freeze espresso, strongest possible, in ice cubes, too cool down the espressos faster.
Not the best option, but it works in hot days.

I didn't have them available now, so it was an hot but very strong and good cappuccino.
Well needed after a tough spinning-class last night. Haven't had enough of them lately so...
