Having my second pressing today. First one was disgusting.

Bought beans yesterday and made coffee this morning using the press. One sip and I dumped it down. Confused, I made an espresso using the beans. Same result. Packed everything up and took it back to the store. As soon as I walked in, they apologized for giving me someone else's bag. Apparently the other customer came back yesterday and they didn't have my number on file.

Told me to keep the beans from yesterday since they can't take back food items per state law. Didn't charge me for my proper beans. I think I'll grind these up and throw them into the compost bin or near the roses.

New beans are Kenyan AA. The bad beans... could be burned acorns for all I know. Yuck! When I say nasty, I truly mean it. It was almost carbonized. Apparently that customer loves that flavor and they're asked to roast it to that level...

Some people.

Kenyan coffee with hot milk this morning, and Kenyan coffee (black) with lunch.
You must try Kenyan black tea. I think you would enjoy it.

Recently tried a banana nut colombian coffee and it was amazing, when it is iced. Subtle hints of banana turn me off sugar so it is healthier also! Try it out guys
