The heat have been massive this summer. Now it’s under 30°C so it’s quite enjoyable.
Don’t have any real fans around my home actually. But many nice windows :)

I actually have had a good use of the fan inbuilt on my treadmill though, even when I’ve not been running on it too. It’s good located to get use of it.
Been using it a lot this summer. Running have been too hot outside and on days.
So long evening or even nightly runs when I’ve used the fan on the TM as I never had before.

Been on the road of perfecting my iced Espressos & Lattes too.
Now I’m freezing double espressos in containers. That I easily can mix with the hot superb espressos my machine make for me. The benefit is to know how many double espressos I drink.
3xdouble espressos (2 hot & 1 iced) and some cold milk etc. makes a great start on the day.
I’am about to go get one now after finished my morning meditation at 4pm.
I’m a night animal :D

Edit. Changed that formula, and I might actually drink up it.
Most of the time I make too much espressos, and throw out when I got my dose of a day starter.
And my double’s are quite small even. Such a waste of great beans.

An afternoon coffee from the Horn of Africa. It is a blend - of my own devising - of four coffees which is comprised of two different coffees from Ethiopia, along with smaller amounts of coffee from Yemen and from Kenya.

Delicious.

Getting ready to brew a pot of Kenyan coffee in preparation for the Man U match, although I might need some stronger if a certain party runs his mouth.

I'm laughing reading this.

Enjoy your Kenyan coffee and try to enjoy - or endure - the match.

And while, on the one hand, I hope a certain party does not "run his mouth", on the other, I hope he does, as it may serve to hasten his eventual departure.

A hot Cappuccino, delicious.
The weather has cooled off with rain, rain, rain....fall is coming closer.

Coffee that was a blend of two types of coffee from Yirgacheffe (in Ethiopian, my favourite region for coffee from Ethiopia) and a small amount of coffee from Yemen. Quite delicious.

A mug of Ethiopian - two different coffees from Yirgacheffe - coffee (with organic milk and organic brown sugar), served with fresh French macaroons from the French bakery.
There's a twist from the usual. I quite like macaroons having tried Laduree from France or the Swiss version Sprüngli.

Perfect with good coffee. I enjoy classic flavours like pistachio, chocolate or salted caramel (like with ice cream).

Well, I was out - had some errands to do, the bank, etc - and thought to pay a visit to the French bakery, with a view to treating myself to something nice with a mug of Ethiopian coffee (it is lashing rain here) on my return home.

French bread, French pear tarts, and macaroons (caramel, cherry and chocolate, vanilla, passion fruit and orange, and lemon) were all purchased and wrapped and bagged; the pistachio and chocolate were present and correct - and, as my mother (as a result of her dementia) has developed a sweet tooth, I hope that she will like them as well.

Sprüngli is the shop/manufacturer. Their version of macarons are called Luxemburglis. They're a touch smaller, and more uniform in appearance (as is the Swiss way) than the French ones, and have a creamier filling. I love them. The price stops me buying and eating too many.
