How did you find your "intentionally weak" Kenyan coffee? In my experience, Kenyan coffee tends to be quite mild, even when served 'strong' for coffee from this region.
Rather flavorless. I wanted coffee after having ginger tea for over a week. Funny enough, I had it with a Ginger Nut.

Green tea before dinner.

Ordered some more things from Amazon earlier. Something I never read before was delaying my prime orders by a week and get $5-10 grocery credit. I understand their reasoning behind it as it serves a dual purpose, but in a given year someone or rather a household like ours can easily get up to 500 dollars or more in groceries by delaying deliveries.

Started the day with some David Lynch signature coffee, house blend roast. this time I made a cappuccino out of it as I am trying to higher up my calorie count due to much more increased training activity (mainly weight lifting and swimming plus martial arts). Energized me quite a bit in this cold weather (in Texan terms).

What is the David Lynch signature coffee like - where are the beans from?

It's pretty soft in flavor (it's a light roast); to my own surprise I like it quite a lot. The first time I bought it I did it just as a fan of David Lynch - and to try a new coffee. Now I order it every couple of months or so. Even my wife - not much of a coffee drinker - likes it a lot due to its softness.
According to the website the sources are : Chiapas, Oaxaca and Vera Cruz.
Sometimes I also buy the Espresso roast (medium).

So it's a Mexican variety. That's a good choice. I've always liked the coffees I've had from there.

Very interesting, and thank you; I've not had a coffee from there.

Chamomile tea. Spent the last five hours trying to figure out why a set of tempered glass panels wasn't sitting very flush. Never occurred to me there was thick protective film on them... Even ran my bare fingers across the leading edges.

Should be tinted.

Ginger lemon tea and sitting down to watch a few episodes of Last of the Summer Wine and then off to bed.

3:30am espresso, followed by a 6:30AM cappuccino, followed by an 8AM black coffee of very doubtful quality (it's free at work) !

Free or not, it sounds essential after a morning like that!

No joke :)
As incredible as it might sound, I feel very energized throughout the day when I wake so early and do stuff (I was at the gym at 5AM, lifting and swimming). The real problem is waking up, especially when outside the weather is cold (and for me cold = less than 75F/24C.....)

I am the opposite.

Now, I have never much been a creature of the morning, but in deepest, darkest, dreariest winter mornings, I feel as if my brain will not emerge from hibernation until March.

I love (good, better still, great) coffee at any time of the day, but I need it in the morning.

Oh well, morning coffee is a necessity for basic survival.
