Attention to detail. They are just good. Even customer service. I made a mistake on my order and it took me an email to fix it with ZERO attrition or resistance. Meanwhile, companies that make billions can’t even have a human talk/write to me without going through insanity and beyond.
Yes, but the companies that make billions have little, or minimal, interest in customer service; they are interested in profits and answering to shareholders.

Well, I took some naproxen sodium too. Coffee might not alleviate the migraine but it will certainly make the day better.
The other thing with migraines is to remember to hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.

And sip savoury stuff - a clear (homemade) chicken broth, for example, - rather than the sweet stuff you may find yourself craving (which will only serve to make the migraine worse).

Mine - once started - used to last for three days; pure agony.

Interestingly, some brands are selling paracetamol/caffeine tablets, as apparently the caffeine makes the paracetamol work better. So you might have been onto something there...

A few (UK) generic medicines have caffeine in them, which I just assumed was to counteract the drowsiness caused by the active ingredient.
Yes, I often sue excedrin which has acetaminophen (paracetamol), aspirine, and caffeine. I believe that caffeine dilates blood vessels.

Absolutely! I usually drink a good bottle of Gatorade when the headache is pretty strong. It does help.

That's so American.

(I know you meant to type "use", but if you had it wouldn't've been funny.)
Nice catch!
Well, time to put the right verb to use:

Some of us with chronic, but not serious, pain are planning to sue** the TGA ( Therapeutic Good Association (in Australia)) because they want to limit packs of Paracetamol to 12. My wife and I often take 2 each before we go to bed.* That means a trip to the chemist (pharmacist, drug store) every 3 days.

* Due to a lifetime of accumulated injuries, worn out joints, etc, etc.
** Yes, we know what you meant, but I think it's a nice segue.

The UK used to sell paracetamol in little plastic bottles of 100. Now, I believe it's limited to packs of 16 (32 at a pharmacy). There's also a limit of two boxes (so 2x16) from most places.

This means if you want to stock up you need to walk to a few chemists and supermarkets. In cities such as London, this can be done in a few minutes. For places with a "self scan" you'd simply need to put them through as separate transactions.

No such limit on coffee (to get back on topic!).

Puck screen, definitely one of the best purchases ever made.

These were sold as a puck screen I assume? Or was this a "found object" that you realized could be put to use in making espresso?

They very much remind me of the screens sold to put in the bottom of flower pots to keep the soil from falling out the hole in the bottom of the pot......yes they do lol

I no longer have an espresso machine but I immediately understand how they would be useful

Found out another monastery that roasts what appears to be excellent coffee. It shall be mine after I come back from my European voyage. Of course, I’ll review it for all of you, caffeinated friends.
