Picking up in store? If you mean reserve and then pick it up, it’s not possible this year. The good news is: ‘you can pick your phone without reservations’, the Prime Reserve page of Apple shows for my country.

Pre-ordering online and picking up in store still works here in the Netherlands.

Last Friday I ordered 2 iPhones XS Max 64 GB and now I want to change one of them to 256 (afraid that 64 is too small). But the Apple website in Germany is written

I think your best option is to receive the phone and send it back to Apple within 14 days for a full refund.

I have an iPhone 7 plus nearly two years and I use 35.5 GB out of the 128.
For some reason, I am afraid that the 64 will not be enough for me.
Anyway, I'll leave the order and take the device. I hope they will open an option for a pick-up in the coming days again.

I like these screen protectors! Too bad my APR doesn’t have them yet. They have this handy tool to align it perfectly.

So I ordered a cheap three pack to use for a few days until my APR can properly replace the screen protector.

These Belkins come with a custom tray to put your iPhone in and align the protector perfectly...
So I'm not expecting to run into problems...

If I recall right, last year Norway was shipped overnight on a Thursday evening. Same goes for Sweden. Apple has the possibility to ship this late, as the European orders are already here in The Netherlands, Czech Republic and Italy.

The American orders are shipped straight from China, which means they need to be shipped earlier in order to deliver on time. So don't worry, at the very latest tomorrow evening you will see that the item is shipped. We'll all get our phones on the 21st, if that is what Apple promised.

I'm sure you're right. Usually the items are in the Netherlands for the people in Europe. I'm expecting an email and Apple-store Update later today. :)

Still nothing on my 3 orders from Apple.dk, status is still Preparing for shipment on all three orders (2x XS and 1 Series 4 Watch with LTE).

Money has been deducted for both phone orders, but nothing for the Watch still.

I really suck at this waiting game.

My order placed 8:07 was set on 25/09 delivery. Got hope I will get it tomorrow, as usually apple send me stuff much quicker over est. delivery date...
I am afraid this time I have to wait till next week. :(

Awesome to see that the shipping notifications have started to be sent out. More exciting: DHL is doing the shipping to Norway. I always have a great experience with my local DHL delivery person.

EDIT: Shipment info received (shipment bound for Norway).

No shipment email from Apple thus far. They usually send it in the afternoon, so I guess I'm gonna have to wait a few more hours.
