I've created a second order yesterday just in case.
I created an order at an APR, not with Apple. There is a main reason for that: my bank is ING and they give a 5% discount at Amac (the APR). So my M1 Max machine costed 200 EUR less than at Apple. I will also use it for business purposes, so it costs 635 EUR less due to VAT return. Do you know if the warranty is valid in another country after?

In Europe, yes. But I live in NL and will take Apple Care on it. So if there is a problem, Apple wil solve it instead of Amac.

Delivery still 29 Oct - 1 Nov (which to be fair isn't that bad for BTO) but I'm not known for my patience. Guess the reviews on Monday will keep me entertained for a bit, but I hope it's the 29th and not the 1st (as 30 and 31 are the weekend lol)
Mine will probably come by end of November or December or so. The APR can’t tell me a date. But we will see. Luckily, my brother gets his MacBook on Tuesday, so I can drool all over.
Went with Apple, all in the end. Arrives Nov 19-26. My hopes are up on a bit earlier. Sure, I will lose 5% discount, but the APR where I ordered it, has a bad tracking record for new machines. In the past, an order of October was delivered in December/January. For those 200 euro’s, I will earn it back much sooner than waiting so long.

I've also been looking to find one. Preferably without dishing out 200 euros or so on the sleeves. Let me know if you find something.
The expected shipment day for the polishing cloth is Oct 27 - Nov 1, but Apple hasn't charged me for that one either.
I wonder if it will be shipped from within Europe.

Apple charged me for the cloth today (also Oct 27 - Nov 1). Nothing for the MBP yet (Oct 29 - Nov 1)
I really don't believe I'm getting this on the 27th. More like on the 29th. The big issue here, is that November 1st is a public holiday so I'm definitely not getting a delivery on that day. I was hoping I could set everything up during the weekend or the public holiday but at this rate it seems like I'm going to have to do it on the go while working on the project lol.
