Ordered 16inch M1 Max 32-core, 64GB, 2TB SSD on October 28th through reseller, it is finally here! I honestly thought I would not get it before April, but I was pleasantly surprised! All of you who ordered through reseller, you could soon be getting a call from them! ??

Cheers to you Billy, you've waited such a long time, you really deserve it ... and what you called, it didn't happen, I didn't received mine yet, so this gives me a little hope for all of you that purchased their computer via reseller. I saw some movement on the reddit threads about MBP shipping for other ppl in your situation as well, so it's a big step to keep their reputation, Apple and foremost, the premium resellers that want to keep their business.

I'm on the 5th week of waiting, this starts to hurt but my window starts on the 23rd, given I'm waiting since 29th January, right now my internal progress bar is at 60%, hope it doesn't gets stuck, come on Apple!

Hey fellas, any of you guys have experience on UPS shippings? Theoretically my MBP shipped yesterday. According to Apple, it arrives tomorrow, according to UPS arrives on thursday, and last info I have from courier is "Cleared Import Customs - Your parcel has cleared customs and is on the way."

The usual flight 5x11 from Shanghai-Incheon-Cologne/Bonn is on the air and supposedly lands within 2 hours, does the text above mean that my MBP is really on the way and possibly within this flight?

I think the indication UPS gives you is the best indication. I have seen you a lot in this thread, what is your story in a nutshell? Been waiting for long? Glad it is arriving soon for you! My experience with UPS shipments is that they are fast compared to DHL which usually ships in BULK afaik.

Let's try to summarize:

- Purchased M1 Pro 14" 10cpu/16gpu/16GB/1TB on 10th Nov 2021 physically
- After a week I realized I did wrong and I wanted more RAM, returned it on 16th Nov 2021
- Same day, I placed an order for M1 Pro 14" 10cpu/16gpu/32GB/1TB, arrived on 2nd Dec 2021
- I used the machine for two months and has been delightful but some business exigences emerged and I also wanted to retire my hackintosh and just use one machine.
- Add a little bit of buyer's remorse for not gettin' M1 Max for 200$ more since the beginning and ...
- M1 Pro 14" 10cpu/16gpu/32GB/1TB returned (thanks to Christmas-return window) on 29th Jan 2022
- Same exact day ordered the 14" 24GPU model
- Near 8 weeks later, it seems it's arriving

So I really hope this ends my journey through the MBP's and this is the final one.

PS: Maybe I shouldn't mention outta of desperation, past 11 Mar, I purchased M1 Max 32GPU 16" that was in stock physically ... though that, I'm sticking with 14" form factor, so it's going back. Add that I owned the MBP M1 that currently my GF uses ... and I can say I'm "The MBP M1x Man" ?

hopefully this will be the last part of the journey. I hate the process of returns so glad that I got my refund fore my 14 inch today as always hate having to return things and waiting for the refund or the company accepting it

Yeah, I'm a little desperate to end it ASAP, in addition to that, there's an important transport strike within my country happening for the past two weeks, and it's like the perfect storm, I really hope it all ends well.

Regarding refunds, with the last two ones I didn't had any issue, so I'm knocking on wood again and Apple's being fantastic with this so far; the M1 Max 16" is still by my side (packed and ready to give it back though) but I'm at the 14-day return period, given the fact that a 14" is coming I don't think they're gonna throw too much questions, but yes, it's a pain going through this process most of the times.

I am not sure what your end destination is, but this looks very good. A lot of UPS packages stop for 5 days at custom clearance in Shanghai. From there on it is superfast like i said before. Nice!

PS: I think I remember somewhere you saying Germany. No doubt it should be delivered tommorow!

Final destination is Spain, so if it's not tomorrow, maybe on Friday, but UPS still shows scheduled for 24th, crossing fingers, thanks for your words!!!

Hey everyone. Long time lurker on Macrumors, but this is my first actual post.
Since I found this thread referring specifically to M1 Pro/Max MBP shipments to Europe, I wanted to ask for your opinion.

I ordered the space gray 16" M1 Max 32 core GPU 64GB RAM 4TB SSD on March 21st, currently still in "Processing" stage of order, my current delivery window to Spain is 26th of April - 4th May. Still has not changed, but I am really fearing it will be further delayed soon like everyone else's.

I found a local official Apple reseller had a new one in stock with the exact same configuration, except 2TB instead of 4TB SSD. I decided to pull the trigger and place the order, with local pick-up on Tuesday and payment in store. I still have not cancelled my first order, will do on Tuesday as soon as I have the other one in my hands and confirm it is in perfect conditions.

I'll be using the MBP for music production and mixing, and I initially wanted 4TB to not have to worry at all about storage for a long time, but I guess I prefer to have my new computer now and maybe have to use a few external SSDs, than wait until end of May, June, or who knows when.

Do you think I am making the right move?
