EUROPE MacBook Pros 14” and 16” inch Pre-orders, Orders and Delivery Status

Hi,

So I waited, waited, waited and finally received some good news. After 16 weeks today I've received my 16" M1 Max, 64GB RAM/1TB, ordered 19th October 2021 from Cortland in Poland. From what I was told, this is the first laptop with such configuration that they've got from Apple. So now migrating stuff from MBP 15" 2015. It will take a while (especially all the dev things), but I already see it was worth waiting

Wow! Same spec i ordered too. Wonder if I’ll hear anything re the order.
But now I kind of want it to be delayed further since I also ordered with more storage through the apple store..

I need to order 32GB RAM as my 16GB is to little or well I'll soon get to little. I also will order it with .us keyboard I have the magic keyboard now with .us layout and I love it when I'm coding.
When I need to write on Swedish I just push the earth glob and start typing I'm still trying to learn that the enter key is smaller so I do press \ instead of the enter key sometime.s

I decide to wait until next version before updating. I can’t justify it now as I can use azure etc. I’ll get confused as my external keyboard are .us and the one on the mbp is Swedish.

No updates from your reseller neither? Starting to think what you've said about me receiving it previously than yours ... I really expect this doesn't happen and you get yours within this month.

I got a call from them on February 2nd where they said that they got an email from Apple that delivery will be no sooner than 30 to 45 days from that day, but when I asked if that's now 100% accurate, they said that they cannot promise that it will be that way, and even offered me a refund if I were to quit with the order, because previously I was unable to get the refund because it's a custom order. I told them that I will wait, since I can't order from official Apple store because there isn't one here in Balkans.

Any chance to get it in 1 week rather than 2 weeks?

My experience with this same configuration when I ordered it past year were 17 days of waiting, from the day I placed the order (16th Nov) till it arrived home (2nd Dec) ... its original estimate window from Apple was 10 Dec - 16 Dec.

A good friend of mine also ordered same specs on 24th Jan, he received it on 14th February, so similar timelines. From what I've seen here and on reddit, these ranges are still maintaining, so I'd go for the 2 weeks option.

I’ll also order that config, got the basic model now. I did buy it as I needed a new computer and in October the back order for 32GB/1tb was like two months or similar so I did go for the basic config.

And after that I have just been lazy and not order the 32/1tb.

In my case, I'm busy cause I need to move from my current house to another before the month ends, so a lot of work involved ... but even with this, a lil piece of my mind has the MBP on sight. And no, you're not alone, I think a lot of us are kinda "sick"/"obsessed", one of the things I do every morning is to check Apple status and bank account to see if there's any movement despite my window doesn't start till 23rd March.

I initially ordered the M1 Pro 10c/16c 32GB 1TB, but today I realized that if you go with 32GB of RAM with the Pro, you can get the M1 Max 24c for only 200€ more and I think makes more sense.

M1 Max 10c/24c 32GB 1TB expected delivery: April 13-27

Amex just dropped a new offer with 100€ discount when purchasing from apple in my country. Offer lasts until March 31st and I think I won’t be able to take advantage of it with the Max purchase since the delivery date is ahead in time and the card wouldn’t be charged in time.

I think I’m leaning back to the M1 Pro with 32GB which has a much earlier delivery and save some money for the iMac with Silicon once it comes out.

Since this is not going to be my main computer, I can still be very satisfied with the M1 Pro performance and enjoy the better battery life and less heat.
