Guys, I've ordered like a few hours after launch (Germany - 42mm LTE Sport) and the Order is still processing. Does it mean that they simple won't have stock for 4-5 weeks as per order or what's the chance of getting it earlier? I've found older thread with Apple Watch and AirPods where the delivery time was much quicker than this. First time ordering on a launch day for me so I'm a bit confused. Thanks!

You're def not getting it on launch day, but there's always a possibility that you will receive it earlier than stated.

Thanks man, that's absolutely fine as first two weeks I'm in Nepal anyway but 2-3 weeks would be just much nicer so fingers crossed!

What delivery date / timescale was quoted when you ordered? That is what will apply. If you can't remember it will be in your order confirmation. Apple is usually spot on with date ranges and if it shortens they usually update that in the order screen but that is very, very rare and usually by no more than a few days. You might be lucky and get in 4 weeks rather than 5 but my experience is that it tends to arrive in the middle of what ever date range is given. For example I ordered a new macbook a few years back and was quote 4-6 weeks. It arrived 5 weeks after order.

I ordered 2 watches one is due on 22/9 the other (ordered at about 8.10am) is coming between 9-16 October. I reckon it will arrive by the Friday (13th) from previous experience.

Hmm that's not good, but thank you. It says 4-5 weeks even though I order fairly quickly after the launch and it's a standard model. I've seen big changes with AirPods and last model of Apple Watch where they've been able to push the supply chain. If it's 3-4 weeks, I'd be happy!

I'm UK based and ordered the 42mm Stainless Steel GPS+Cellular on a white band at 8.01am on pre order day and mine says est shipping 9-16 October. Surely that can't be right when I ordered at 8.01am??

Not quick enough. You need to be on it ('on it like a car bonnet' like we say in the UK!)

I couldn't even get into the online store at 8.01am - I was about 8.03 I think as I was frantically refreshing the app! You may just be unlucky to have picked a popular model or a model that there is less initial stock for.............. But I think a lot of models dropped to 9-16 October within a few short minutes esp 42mm models.

399€ charged. until now it was on hold. i think if not tonight, tomorrow will be the day when we finally get our watches shipped! (with tracking code!!)

AW Edition White Ceramic, ordered 2 minutes after Shop was online. Estimated Delivery 22nd to Munich, Germany. Order still preparing for shipment, but my credit card got charged too today - so expecting a delivery on time.

My credit card got charged on monday, i expect the order status to change to 'shipped' today.

My Paypal account was charged on the 16th and though still showing 'preparing for dispatch' I am expecting delivery on Friday as per order details.

I also have a pending charge for another watch order due between 9-16 October. Been pending since order day but I dont epect it to come off until after the 2nd October at the earliest.

Do you know if anyone from Europe managed to figure out UPS or DHL tracking by now?
We tried, but no success. I believe that they shipped all watches in a batch to Prague and then will give them over to DHL Express tomorrow.

Even if they use UPS, we wouldn't be able to track these shipments now because Apple doesn't add reference info for shipments within the EU. (i've checked a 3 months old ups apple shipment)

The watch band i ordered a few weeks ago was delivered by DHL and i could track it, it was sent from the Netherlands. No idea if this is relevant for the watch orders..

The day is not over yet and i expect the status to change to shipped when i wake up, and if not i will probably refresh the page every hour because it's part of the excitement..?

Ps: Yes i bought a watch band before i got a watch but i'm glad i did because that color is gone now so yay.

on US, UPS ships the watches from china to their final home. so the tracking starts in china.

Here on EU, X company (probably UPS) ships the watches from china to warehouses in europe but UPS is not the final courier so they don't have any reference about us. and another courier gets our watches from that warehouse to our houses. so, the tracking starts with that other courier receiving the order from apple that pick up those packages and send them to our addresses.

probably our watches are resting in netherlands for few days ago. and tonight/tomorrow they will change status to shipped as DHL/TNT/another bring our watches finally home.

42mm stainless steel models were not available for launch day delivery in the UK however they were available for launch day in-store pickup. I ordered a 42mm Milanese Loop and wanted it delivered but had the same delivery estimate. So I changed to pick up at my local store and it was available on launch day.

Don't be surprised though if you get a shipment notification tomorrow for delivery on Friday. I've had one say 4-6 weeks and still arrive on launch day - and that was when the first generation came out and availability was seriously constrained, way more than this generation. So, have faith! :p

That would be good. My ceramic is still stuck on processing since i placed the order last friday

Is that the white or grey? The grey was never available for launch day delivery or pickup, which was annoying, and the main reason I didn't get it this year after getting the white one last year.
