Mine has been shipped too! I just read this and manually checked the status, but I haven't received a notification yet.

PS: Space gray with gray band, non-LTE (we don't have them), Spain.

I placed my order for ‘Apple Watch Series 3 GPS + Cellular, 42mm Stainless Steel Case with Soft Sport Band’ within seconds of the Apple Store (iOS App) going live (despite the item having a 2-3 week delivery date, which I assumed was an error); I have confirmed this order time with an Apple Representative (live chat): “... it’s showing as order processed at 2017/09/15 08:02:16 GMT...”

I checked delivery dates for all available configurations of Apple Watch Series 3 immediately after placing my order. The ONLY configuration which was not available for delivery on 22/09 (at that time ~08:03 GMT) was ’Apple Watch Series 3 GPS + Cellular, 42mm Stainless Steel Case with Soft Sport Band’.

I received my confirmation email at 08:02 GMT which confirmed that the ‘Items to be Dispatched’ will be dispatched in ‘2-3 weeks’, with a delivery estimate of ‘9 Oct - 16 Oct by Standard Shipping’.

This Apple Representative also stated that: “... I’ve checked and all versions of Apple Watch were available for pre-order for delivery in the UK on the 22nd...”

I asked her to confirm this, and she responded: “Yes! All configurations were available (as I checked with my colleagues here to be sure).”

As of 22:00 GMT on 20/09/17, my card has not been charged, and my order has not progressed.

The Apple Representative did go on to say that: “...we will be working to prioritise orders in the time that they came in, so if we can get this order out to you faster, we will!”

Exactly the same issue, I ordered the Series 3 LTE SS 42mm with the white sports band via the app, I received the confirmation email at 8:02am and yet my delivery is also 9 Oct - 16 Oct :(

So far my order is still says "order in progress".

I have spoken to another Apple Advisor on live chat: “... I can confirm that the first batch for the Apple S3 watch sold out very very quickly and yours is the next batch that is available. I fully understand how fustrating this is as you completed checkout 2 minutes after release, but the first batch has sold out before you completed the checkout...”.

I asked ‘how many units comprise a batch’, ‘whether this was a UK batch’, and ‘did the general public have access to this batch at the same time as telephone providers, etc’.

The advisor responded with “... I cannot give you an answer for that, but I do know there were thousands of people on at the time of day preordering...”, and “Yes, it was available to the general public. There would be a certain amount available for UK stores and online.”

I ordered via the iOS Apple Store App, and cannot understand how an entire ‘batch’ of this configuration was the only configuration unavailable for a 22/9 delivery date. Any thoughts?

Just had a ready for pickup notification. Obviously it’s not really ready until tomorrow though. Haha.

I did write a post this morning but not sure where it went.

Got text from UKmail just before 9am to say watch to be delivered tomorrow with tracking link. Apple Store app also now showing as dispatched as link to tracking. Initial tracking was blank then showed it was at Hinckley (this always reminds me of Erin Brockowitz!) but at 12.39 it reach Ryton.

Anyone know if UKMail give you a delivery window on the day of delivery?

Also just had a ready for pick up notification. Gently tempted to give the store a ring and beg them to allow me to get it tonight.

Not a hope in hell and definitely 'more than their job's worth!' :D;)

It’s annoying I am sure but I expected that - I too had mine favourited and it immediately showed delivery in October. I even ordered a Hermes just to get it quicker - even that isn’t due for delivery until Monday at the earliest.

If you can’t wait then go to an Apple store tomorrow.

In the UK at least, stainless steel availability was pretty good... for in-store pickup. I don't think any 42mm were available for guaranteed launch day delivery (though I'm sure some will arrive tomorrow), but the Milanese Loop was available for launch day in-store pickup for hours. The Space Black Milanese was available for launch day pickup for days!

Meh. Now Apple site is saying my Watch is arriving on the 26th, not on the 25th. This sucks :(

Lets be fair - it would be hard to arrive on Monday unless it ships tomorrow. And I think if it was to be able to ship tomorrow it would have been shipped TO arrive tomorrow.

Disappointing but expected I would say. I don’t expect mine to arrive on Monday - more likely Tuesday or Wednesday.

It has shipped already, it has been processed at the DHL facility in Brussels, but still, it shows tuesday. Which is weird.

Finally ordered mine... today
I'm the only one to blame as I really couldn't make up my mind on which model to replace my S0. It will be the same, aluminium 42mm, GPS only. Delivery in 3-5 business days, that is, sometime next week (27-29 September) :)

Not too bad a wait! Am waiting til 9-16 October for a 42mm gold aluminium model ordered on launch day. However my 38mm ordered a minute or so before comes tomorrow. Not sure what size I need but hopefully if the 38mm fits well I can cancel the 42mm.

Closer for me! I think. Looks like Hinckley is near Birmingham and Ryton is by Newcastle.

Christmas tomorrow

Yes they do. UKMail are really good actually. You can track (aka stalk) the driver on his route too which is pretty addictive. Enjoy!
[doublepost=1506050671][/doublepost]Off to pick my Watch up from the store with an 8-8.30am window and can’t sleep!

Anyone else awake?
