iPhone evasi0n trouble and troubleshooting [MERGED]

reboot

After the jailbreak the ipad mini gets stuck on "Findings Offsets"
Does not reboot by itself.

Any solutions?
 
Anybody else still having issues downloading apps through Cydia? The only thing I was able to get was FakeCarrier. Great. The one app I really don't need. Nothing else is working. SBSettings, MyWi, Flashlight, nothing.
 
This is my first jailbreak, so please forgive me.

If a solution is found for the weather app and other bugs, do I have to re-jailbreak the device, or is there like a patch or something I can install to fix the issue?

First jailbreak here.

Took me several times to install the jailbreak. It would freeze at various spots during the process. Finally got it to work, so if you're having similar issues you might want to keep at it.

Same thing on my IPAD mini. Activator was the culprit unfortunately. Delete it and volume will be fine.

Probably the latter. An update may come via Cydia or a change you can do thro a tweak like ifile.

There is a notice on Cydia that says they have improved stability etc and to just keep trying.

I did and now have everything I need.

Probably had to try 3 or 4 times with each package until it completed.

Yeah, this morning I'm able to just try multiple times and get most of the stuff installed. It's obviously getting good international interest, otherwise it would be rock solid at 6:something in the morning!
 
I've been noticing how all my Spotify songs are having problems in the start and sometimes in the middle with a song. Theres a weird sound like the "bzzt" in the song "Sail". It's really weird and somtimes the songs stop for a brief moment (1 second).

Is this the EarPod or is it the Jailbreak?
 
Anyone else having trouble with getting stuck on the Apple screen when rebooting? It happens about 50% forcing me to hold the power and home button, after I'm able to boot. Not a huge deal but a minor annoyance. So far I have:

Activator
Intelliscreen
Bitesms
Dashboard x

But it happen with no tweaks too.

Yea that just happened to me. I used Siri to send a text message. The message sent, but Siri never exited and looked like she was thinking.

Hard reboot left me with the apple for like 5 minutes (way too long). Did it again and nothing happened (got the Apple Device Driver USB popup in my Windows system tray). Did it again and it finally restarted.
 
@planetbeing: Fixes for the long reboot issue and Weather app issue are now available on Cydia with an update to the untether and uikittools.

Don't know if this is from evasi0n or cydia, but on my iPad my cydia opens up as if it was on an iPhone and I can't use it :(

So I tried to run the Cydia updates this morning, my phone rebooted automatically and not it's stuck on the Apple logo. Please help!

I posted this exact thing in another thread. The solution was to boot into safe mode (hold the up volume while booting) run Cydia and (in my case) delete RetnaPad). It might be another offending program for you, but it looks like RetnaPad.
 
My iphone 5 is on version 6.0.1 (10A525)
Is this the version to jailbreak or can i upgrade a few firmwares up and jailbreak.
Whats a good source for this jailbreak step. please dont flame me, i am coming back to the forum after a long time.
