I wanted to photograph the collection again. But no matter how I arrange it, it looks crappy 😂 (and as a bonus - bad background and bad light). @athousandbands Respect for how good yours always look. The "little ones" are not in the picture, and they are becoming more and more even though I don't wear a small AW at all 🙈 I have to stop THAT at least. And one or the other Band is missing because it magically wanders into my wife's bedside table and is lost there 😅

Been a while since I posted. Saddle Brown Leather Classic Buckle is probably my favorite band, but I got tired of waiting for it to darken and patina.
Saw this post “How to darken/pimp your Classic Buckle Band” and decided to give it a shot.
Photo of my darkened saddle brown next to my wife’s 38mm Saddle Brown Classic Buckle. Really happy with the way it turned out. I got some new Red Wing Iron Ranger boots (Amber Harness color) and the darker band is now closer in color to my boots.

Looking at this outstanding collection and others, it’s interesting how some bands always seem to be instantly recognizable in various lighting, while other bands have many close relatives and it would be a crapshoot to try to guess. The Nike bands are very easy with only a few exceptions; guessing the sport bands are much more difficult. Here I can (only) name...
Khaki, Clover, Blue Gen 1, Blue gen 2, Spearmint, Bright Green, OG Green, OG Yellow, OG Orange, Hermès Orange, Dragon fruit, Plum, and Dark Cherry (omitting the obvious black unity and pride). I’m sure some of the veterans could name a whole lot more, but these are the only ones I instantly recognized as “for sure“. Anyway, it’s a fun exercise. 😀

A couple weeks back I decided I’d try to wear a different Watch band every day and I’ve been enjoying it more than I expected. Been taking photos for the “show off your Apple Watch” thread but also to put in an album. Eager to get through the entire collection!

i think I’ve really been sleeping on Delft. Really has some richness once you remove it from your band storage solution!
Still surprised this leather link - Chalk - was ever made. I love its look - very Stormtrooper.

They def like doing a white in spring early in a band style’s lifespan. Classic Buckle and Leather Loop spring 2016. Starlight, too if you count its BSL.

Very nice! So does the Infograph Modular face even exist anymore in watchOS 9? Because this new Modular face looks just like the Infograph Modular face, just with a bunch of extra color options.
