Blue 2nd Gen. Indoor near a window and outdoors full brightness. Love this band, reminds me of hot California summers spent near the pool, smell of fresh chlorine and just the hint of a breeze coming through the air.

Big update - and good news - after enough in-store searching here in The Netherlands, I finally found an English Lavender Sport Band in my size sitting in a store, for the normal Dutch retail price of €49 euro. Immediately bought it and wowwww, I absolutely love it! It is such a royal and elegant shade of purple, with some periwinkle blue mixed in. I really love it and regret completely ignoring it from when it was released to when it was shortly discontinued thereafter. Feeling very satisfied and happy about nabbing myself a band that today would be impossible to get in Australia (without eBay and paying ridiculous import and shipping fees), anyways some pics

Next to my matching English Lavender iPad Smart Folio that made me want an English Lavender Watch Band

Another shot with the matching iPad Smart Folio - you can see some of the periwinkle coming out in the band

Overall - English Lavender is a solid and completely underrated band. Purple in itself, Apple very rarely releases purple coloured Watch Bands (not helped by it being discontinued six months after release), so this feels like a really special find and definitely a keeper.

EDIT - will post an outdoor shot later

Looks even better outdoors, it really pops. This is definitely a keeper. It may have been released as a Fall band, but to my eyes, it’s actually a very summer-y band

Just bought one off the back of your earlier post (this thread is dangerous…). Looking forward to owning a properly purple Sport Band!

And now I'm also hoping Apple make a 'Dutch Lavender' counterpart – that bokeh-ed shade in the upper-right background of your outdoor photos would look beautiful in fluoroelastomer!

Good choice! Im sure you’ll love it. As i until now never had a purple watch band (maybe also the same as you?), the English Lavender feels really novel, fresh and a good choice to add to my collection. And to think I only got interest in the English Lavender band because a month ago I had to get a new iPad Smart Folio case and English Lavender was the only non-white-or-black option so I gave it a try and surprisingly fell in love with it.

I really adore this combo and it’s notable how although Apple discontinued all three English Lavender Watch Bands, for anyone with one of the current iPads - they still make and sell the English Lavender Smart Folio for the Air, Mini and Pro.

As for future Watch band colours, well, September and Series 8 is really just around the corner now, about two and bit short months to go, the September band release is usually a really big one, I’m really keen to see what we get then!

For anyone curious, here’s Cornflower Sport Band vs Blue Fog (iPhone case).

And yes, for anyone with the Sierra Blue phone, I 100% recommend the Blue Fog Silicone Case, couldn’t be a more perfect match.

Of course there’s no arguing about taste, but I thought the Sierra Blue iPhone with the Blue Fog case were close but probably not close enough. I tried it in the Apple Store, but immediately thought my iPhone had gone from blue to white 😳. Thus I thought it to be a bad combination and went for the Lemon Zest case.
