Very nice! So does the Infograph Modular face even exist anymore in watchOS 9? Because this new Modular face looks just like the Infograph Modular face, just with a bunch of extra color options.

It replaces Infograph Modular and you can simply turn the background off to have it on black again.

Thanks. That makes complete sense. Modular and Infograph Modular were so similar (and the Infograph version was so clearly better) that it didn’t make sense to have both outside of the need to keep supporting the S3 watches.

I am in The Netherlands on holiday and I am positively gobsmacked how so many third party electronic stores here are selling now-discontinued bands, all new and for regular retail price, some discounted.

I definitely want to take advantage of this and buy something before I leave

I have seen:

-Sea Salt Sport Loop
-Sunflower Sport Loop
-Clementine Sport Band
-Camel Sport Loop (the one from Fall 2019)
-California Poppy Leather Link
-Dark Cherry Sport Band

I‘m feeling confident and hopeful I can find that English Lavender Sport Band.

Otherwise, the Sunflower Sport Loop looks tempting.

What’s the discount?
Not much - €44 instead of €49 (for a Sport Band or Sport Loop), and only on Series 6-era or prior bands

there was a more attractive discount I saw on Apple’s previous generation Leather Wallet for iPhone in the Saddle Brown, (if you like this better than Golden Brown and don’t care about FindMy, it’s tempting) being sold for €44 instead of €65

We’re so spoiled here. That day a few months ago when one of the wholesalers just had every fall21 $49 non-solo for half off and at times even more.

Hi, longtime reader but first post :)
Does anyone have a picture of the starlight braided solo loop with the silver aluminum case? Love the band, but I'm not sure about the combination. Thanks!

Starlight is so close to Silver in many lighting conditions, it can’t be too different than this:

Starlight is also imo the best BSL and shouldn’t be missed. I rock it on my “neutral” white ceramic and it‘s great if not perfect.

@Arcontia

Delivery tomorrow! Could use one of the lockers?
I am not sure if this is a better deal than you find at home? The band is basically unavailable in the UK so seieng it in stock was encouraging.

I waited so long to get Capri and there one is 😆 Got it on at the moment and really worth it. Fingers crossed for you on the search for English Lavender - but while there have you tried Amazon EU? I think I saw them there recently

Yeah it’s just that back in my home country, Australia, bands are basically sold nowhere besides the Apple Store (online or retail). Some JB Hifi‘s may stock a few Black Sport Bands but that’s it

So now that Apples decided to go back to outright removing bands from the stores when they go out of season, it means once discontinued, its literally gone/impossible to buy unless you want to play the eBay waiting game (which also has ridiculous import costs attached to it thanks to government regulations). So it’s a very big pleasant surprise coming here to Europe and finding all these old bands for immediate sale! And yes Capri is one of the nicest blues out there, it positively glows even in the shade

Thank you for sharing the Amazon link! As I’m on holiday overseas, I do think a direct in person purchase at a store would be the easiest - I will have a look and see if I can find the English Lavender in my size at a store here and if not then I’ll give the Amazon link a try! I recently got the iPad folio in English Lavender and love it, im sure it will be the same for the band. As for whether or not it’s a better deal, the cost is comparable as to if you could still buy it in Australia - unfortunately a little more expensive, but I’ll take it, I definitely won’t find it back home in Australia.

Thanks! Does the braided solo loop have the same size as the sport loop? The measurement tool from Apple's website was for me the right size with the sport loop.

Starlight BSL with Starlight on the left and silver on the right.
