I was really hoping for a purple Sport band to be released today with the new purple (Iris) iPhone case. You're a legend if you bought the Ultraviolet sport band!

Instead we got 3 Sport bands I already have close enough (for me) dupes for. Sky - azure, bright orange - papaya, and olive - pine/ clover/ cypress family.

Here's hoping for June summer bands LOL.

I look forward to seeing where Canary Yellow fits on the spectrum of Sunglow to Lemon Zest.

Sprout Green looks cool.

And does Bright Orange sport band replace my need to over-pay for a Hermes Orange sport band? (They’re not the same, but are they close enough that I can live with the Bright?)

Eh, as a person who has all the bands they're all nice. Hermes is on another level. I would never consider it bright but its incredible. I posted a picture of all the oranges you can view here etc. IF anything, you'll want to look for Vitamin C on ebay etc.

Hermes just has its own distinct glow. BrOr might have more of a bright "hey look at me, I'm orange" feel, but hermes will always be the closest true orange I think.
That’s a good way of putting it. Hermes is deeper, is what your comparison showed.

Possibly I’m getting closer to answering my question from a day or two ago about buying that Series 6 Hermes with Orange Single Tour and sport band…

I mean you can get an Hermes band from apple directly, brand new, for $49 plus shipping if you have an Hermes serial number. Which, is pretty easy to find on eBay.

Not that I'm supporting borrowing serial numbers for watches you dont own, but like, Apple won't know...

Are these numbers really correct? I feel like there are more than 15 bands available now. + each year 19?

Hey. Yeah, there are more bands than 15 available. 😎 We were updating the database yesterday and had a reset of availability for a few minutes. If the app synced during this short period of time, you might have the wrong number. Just restart and everything will be shown correctly.

The number 19 reflects your collection, 26% (or 5) of your 19 bands were released in 2022.

I'm most excited to see how BrOr compares to VitC. Will I still need to seek it out, or does BrOr scratch that itch?

Bonus points if you have access to a blacklight/UV light that you can put them all under. As far as I've seen, VitC is the only one to glow.
Turns out it’s nothing like VitC (second from right) - more like a darker Marigold (far left). Kumquat, Papaya and Hermes also pictured.

This spring release isn't very exciting.

Canary Yellow looks like Lemon Zest.
Bright Orange looks like Hermes. I already have Marigold and Hermes orange.
Sky looks like Fog Blue.

Only silicon band interesting is the Sprout Green, but I don't wear Solo Loop.

I'm considering Rose Azalee in Hermes leather band.

Iris band would have been great. Here it is with English Lavender and UV.

Here’s Sky with Mist Blue, Sky Blue, Lilac(!) and Blue Fog.

My spring Solo haul has already arrived. 🤩 Long story short, they're all keepers, if for (slightly) different reasons.

Bright Orange Braided is very bright (and very yellow-ish). I couldn't compare to Electric Orange Braided as I don't have that one, but here it is inbetween Marigold SB and Kumquat Solo.

Sprout is, again, very bright (and very yellow-ish). I guess it would be closest to the OG Green SB, but I sold that one a long time ago. Here is Sprout inbetween Pistacchio Solo and Bright Green SB.

Olive is a little boring and not very spring-y, but it's a solid choice and I'll keep it because my Eucalyptus Solo, which is quite similar, is too big/loose now on the Ultra. Also pictured: Khaki SB.

Purple Fog is lovely and exactly as the name implies. As you can see, it's much lighter than English Lavender. Also pictured: Lilac SB, because why not.
