My spring Solo haul has already arrived. šŸ¤© Long story short, they're all keepers, if for (slightly) different reasons.

Bright Orange Braided is very bright (and very yellow-ish). I couldn't compare to Electric Orange Braided as I don't have that one, but here it is inbetween Marigold SB and Kumquat Solo.

Sprout is, again, very bright (and very yellow-ish). I guess it would be closest to the OG Green SB, but I sold that one a long time ago. Here is Sprout inbetween Pistacchio Solo and Bright Green SB.

Olive is a little boring and not very spring-y, but it's a solid choice and I'll keep it because my Eucalyptus Solo, which is quite similar, is too big/loose now on the Ultra. Also pictured: Khaki SB.

Purple Fog is lovely and exactly as the name implies. As you can see, it's much lighter than English Lavender. Also pictured: Lilac SB, because why not.

I also received my order yesterday. I went for the Braided. Unlike you, I'm a bit underwhelmed, especially with Purple Fog Braided. It's really very, very pale. The purple is barely visible (if at all, when it's on the wrist). Maybe it will look better in spring! šŸ˜‚
Here it is between Starlight and Slate.

Maybe I have to try this with another watch. Somehow it's too delicate for the Ti.

As for Bright Orange, for me it's closer to Maize than to any Orange - unlike, from the photos, the sport band. Completely different from Apple's renderings. Here it is next to Electric Orange.

Keeping them for now šŸ˜Š

The reasons that I only got one of the three new Braideds are that I expect Olive to be quite similar to Inverness (or Rainforest) and that I prefer pastels in rubber (Braided needs to be either subdued or banging for me). That being said, because of the texture of the braid the "same" colour always seems to read even more pale than the rubber pendant. The Purple Fog Solo is light-coloured, but not that light-coloured. I took another picture next to the English Braided.

You're right that it's probably closer to Maize than to Electric, but IRL ā€“ to me ā€“ one still clearly reads "yellow" while the other clearly reads "orange", but certainly with a strong dash of the respective other colour. And I love both. šŸ˜Š

P.S. No, the Maize one didn't stretch out like that. It is one size larger. But unlike the rubber Solos, the Braideds are still wearable with the Ultra even in the bigger size.

Wow, that is way closer to Maize than I thought!

Got my two new bands today, Canary Yellow Loop and Spicy Orange Sport band.. The Canary Yellow is just like my prior yellow loop, so thatā€™s great, but the Spicy Orange Sport band is dull and going back. Iā€™d say itā€™s PEACH and not really too orange, certainly not a bright orange.

I wasnā€™t expecting Hermes, but certainly something brighter than it is.

Has anyone received any of the new Loop bands? I got a Canary Yellow in 6 today, as my prior (what appears to be the same color yellow 7 doesnā€™t fit with my AWU, itā€™s a tad too large)

But this new band for SURE feels a bit thinner AND a bit less integrity, more floppy and weak. Anyone notice that? If I hold the two up together I can see a TINY difference in THICKNESS for sure

Nice shots! I agree, the colour shows better in less exposed photos - in fact it looks more like Purple Fog in artificial light than in natural light. And agree also regarding the Braided being overall more pale. Oh well. I guess Purple Fog will grow on me with time. I will also try it on other watches.

They both look good. :) I don't have Maize but can live without it for now that I have Bright Orange. In fact I quite like this one.

You're probably the first person I come across in all watch communities who doesn't like Spicy Orange. While it's not as bright as, say, Vitamin C, it's still a very rich orange in my opinion.

... oh wait... unless you mean Bright Orange, the new band? šŸ¤”

I ordered whatever the newest band was. Called bright Orange. Really seems like peach only. Itā€™s not a bright Orange at all

Finally got my bands from the apple store pickup. Despite them telling me they'd be ready at 10am, they had them MUCH later today. Next time ill have them delivered - lesson learned.

After a brief try on, in my opinion sprout solo loop is the standout winner. What a nice green. Most of these 'spring' colors are definitely on the pastel side of things (olive being the exception). And despite wanting to say that there are samesies bands, none of this release really look like any other band (in my opinion), which always fascinates me. Plenty of ink left in that well i guess (at least in the sport bands).

is sprout like a neon/flourescent green?

I visited the Apple Store today to see the spring colors in person.
Sky solo and bright Orange braided loops are certainly winners for me.

I also took the opportunity to voice my disappointment again that the Alpine band is not available for 41mm watches. The reaction of the store attendant surprised me a bit. He suggested I order one of the bands on Amazon ā€œinspired by the Alpine bandā€. This is certainly a way to deal with customer requests, but not one I would expect at Apple. ;)

This might be a long shot, but does anyone know what the closest colour match Apple Sport Band is to the Apple silicone iPhone case in Blue Jay is?

Just bought the Blue Jay case for my phone and want to get an Apple Watch band to match, but was looking through the blue ones on Bandbreite and thereā€™s so many!

Well, he can't change company policy, so I think his advice was good and he helped the customer. Apparently, at least, he puts the customer before the company.
