@chipsandsalsa or anyone else who has it, on the gray/black edition version, as the underside is black, does that mean when you're wearing it you can see the black edges around the pin holes like you can on Nike straps? I'm assuming so and this is therefore probably a daft question, but just wanted to check! (It would bug me enough that it would make me decided to order the dark gray instead of the gray/black).

Nah, you cant see the black through the band through the holes if thats what you're asking. It stopps like 1/4/th of the way up in the holes. The only place you can sorta see the black is on the tongue part where you slip the band into.

Latest arrival.. it didn't come with the outside box with the name of the colour printed on it, so I'm not sure which one it is...what do you say, Walnut? It has a 38 mm stamp on the back. It's Starlight on the right

Thats definitely Walnut - great band!

It's worth noting that the Nike bands are designed to have the color show through the front side, and as such, the bands are molded in such a way where the backside color comes through to the top of the pin. The Edition bands only have the second color for show, I guess, and they're not designed the same as the Nike. The black side doesn't show through, unless you look really really hard, and even then its hard to see.

Thank you both.

A few weeks ago I found this band:
White with rose gold pin.
The signs on the back are golden.
Does anyone recognise him?

EDIT

18K rose gold/white

Yep, as you've identified, it's the White Sport Band that came with an 18k Rose Gold Edition.

Though more likely, it's a demo White Sport Band. If it has no '18k' market on the back side of the pin, it's a demo. If it has this marker, it's worth a loooooot more.

The demo versions were used to put on the fake 18k editions that sat under glass in the Apple Store. They're made to look like the real ones, but have no actual 18k gold in them. (I think they're just gold plated?)

Found a new Soft Pink MB...it's the first time I have a band with this package. Damn, it was good!
I purchased because the deal was so good, I've never been a pink girl but I must say it's a very subtle pink, creamy and light, much lighter than the picture on the box.

Man, that looks absolutely incredible. Definitely think the AW looks better with leather straps without stitches, which outside of the modern buckle and 1st Gen classic buckle, seem impossible to find.

Definitely Walnut, I posted the same band a few pages back, which coincidentally I picked up from a seller in Italy.

Nice, thanks! The same seller had this mystery one and Black/Hyper Grape Nike, both seemingly in good condition, so I should get the pair in the next few days.

Thanks to everyone who’s weighed in on this - I’ll update if it looks different to the photos.
Okay, finally have my new mystery green band, and yep, looks like Spearmint was right. Here it is between original Green (left) and Bright Green (right) with the Spearmint sport loop across the top for good measure. I don’t think the photo is 100% accurate, colourwise, but you get the sense.

Thanks again to those who helped.

Almost looks like cactus here, but having it match the sport loop is a good way to tell. Spearmint it is!

That's odd, it's called 'Spring Green' here in UK. I'm guessing that what you call sprouts, we call shoots; to us sprouts are a dark green vegetable, so I'm guessing Apple changed the name here.
It's called "Pastellgrün" in Germany, but the sticker on the box still says "Sprout Green Solo Loop".
Would be interesting to know if they changed the box also for the UK

Took bad Apple didn’t simply put the name of the band on the band. It could be right there in tiny lettering near the Watch size inscription. “42mm Spearmint”. It certainly would remove some of the confusion, and may even have prompted more sales as it would make it easier to tell bands apart for the less enthusiastic collectors? Unless you all think that it’s fun trying to figure these things out?! Lol.

I do think figuring colors out can be part of the fun, but yeah, having the name on the band would be really cool. Maybe on the side, where the "Assembled in China" script goes, except I think that's only on the M/L. So the name could go on the pin half?

Aww, then I would have never had to buy/collect all the sport bands :D

Looking for advice: 41 mm silver Stainless Steel Series 7, 96% battery health, with charger, good conditions with little usage, for about 300 €, do you think it's an honest/good deal?

Depends on what band it comes with. 🤔

But yeah it seems like a pretty good deal, my 41mm S7 battery is 97% after 10 months, so 96% is probably fine. Also I usually end the day with 30-40% battery left. That’s much cheaper than a refurb one in any case and being SS you can polish it back to a new state as needed with cape cod cloths.

Regular Starlight sport band.
Thanks for your opinion, I currently own a silver SS Series 5 which is 3 years old but the battery life is poor right now (I have to charge it 2 times a day and I can't basically use the always on display anymore). I intended on wait until September to see how Series 9 will be, but rumors seem disappointing (and I wouldn't spend 800-900 € for the SS version on day 1 anyway, unlesse very BIG changes in design/battery life). So I'm starting to look around for a decent deal.

Not a clue what prices go for overseas, but I recently picked up a 45mm Graphite Series 7 with 100% battery heath and a graphite milanese loop for $250 (about €230 i think)

They can be had cheaper, but you do have to hunt. Mine came from a wholesaler on eBay.
