Now I’m wondering if there will be a new $49 textile band below FineWoven to replace the sport band/solo loop.

So many of the bands we love have stretch and rubbery goodness, even the sport loop a bit. I wonder if they can do that without silicone

Nah, if the "new band connector" rumor holds any water at all, they'd keep the silicone/fluoroelastomer kill for next year when they completely redo the lineup anyway.

Summer 2018’s Sky Blue sport band, pretty intense shift to purple tone when I take it outside

At some point one of us needs to take Storm Blue solo to the store to compare to Storm Blue SpBa

Won't matter for me, I'd get it regardless.. but then again, I'm sporting the S7 Blue, so any band I intend to get is either going to match or compliment in similar or opposing colors on the Pantone color wheel.

But I missed the part of the event showing the bands, so I'll have to have a look again.

I am seeing a lot of bands that colorwise look ’meh’ to me. Too much repetition of colours that have been released earlier and too much pale colours….. I miss vibrancy! I do like the new Nike Sport Loops though. But might be I‘m degrading myself to be a ‘former’ completist when it comes to collecting bands.

I will post screengrabs once my phone updates, but the Nike Global face only has colors from today (which of course are also some old colors). Game Royal face is not a very bold blue, honestly looks identical to the Mystic Navy color face.

Genuinely love the new Nikes - almost all colours of both types - and a couple of the sport band/solo loops fill gaps in my collection. Not super-excited about any of the braideds, but the new Ultra colours are cool and I’ll pick up some of them.

Also worth noting that we got a big range of new colours across all variants, accepting the magnetic link as an update to the leather link and the new Hermes styles accordingly. Despite the many many predictions here that they’d discontinue Nike bands/Nike loops/Hermes/braided solos.

I'm on the totally opposite side of the fence. Pure Platinum/White got reborn and now has sprinkles like some kind of unofficial Pride band and it looks awesome.

I totally agree. Pure platinum is actually much better than the actual pride sport band they have this year. I also like blue flame, but I think my favorite is desert stone, feels like terrazzo. Too expensive to get all three though… will have to think about this one.

@choreographics can you pull the part number for the current red sport band on the store, which doesn’t carry a NEW label? I can only get the url bar to show the Mulberry number. It looks like Apple hasn’t changed their red watch/sport band, but the Face Editor has new red options?
