I hope they get back to the previous sport loop style, with the interwoven mixed threads (eg. product red sport loop v1). Glad that the current Nike sport loops still have this approach (for now; knock on wood). Personally not a fan of the dual-tone (triple-tone really) style at all -- too "flat" IMO. On the bright side, this has lead to a noticeable drop in my band spending recently!

Ahh that's reliving to hear, nabbed a sealed Light Pink and was worried it was a bad deal.

I got my first sport loop, totally see the appeal but this just solidifies my love for the bands. (Plus too warm to wear down south 24/7, since I don't like my bands sliding/rolling)

As for the dual tones, we're not the minority on not liking them. LOL I keep seeing a bunch of them cheap&sealed on the aftermarket for much lower.

I just hope they release some rich/bold purples and greens for future releases.

Yeah I only like the camel one and that light just be because of the dearth of yellow loops

Very much this.

Also, I generally like the Sport Bands better than the Sport Loops, but I do have a few of the latter, and rather like the Alaskan Blue one, with two blues and yellow piping on the edge. Just a nice colorful asymmetrical feel to it.

i would love for them to release like a season neons, pastels, earth colours and so on.

Just got the “Titanium” gray band on eBay.
Now I have to find the Hermès Black Sport Band...

Part of me regrets not making a move on the noir leather single tour while it was available.. makes me wonder whether Apple will ever do their “own” (non-Hermès) traditional leather band with black hardware. They did it for the modern buckle, so perhaps there’s hope. But then again, it’s been a long while since they have had any traditional leather bands for 42/44.

ok...so!

I've been focusing on growing my collection of bands; but mainly sports bands and loops...until NOW!

I went looking at the leather straps and found that the Fauve and Noir single tours are not available. I know how the cycles and new seasonal offerings come and go with the sports bands but I know nothing of the Hermes bands.

Are these bands gone forever now? I know there will be others that come, I'm sure, but will there be a similar noir band with dark lugs available? Did I just choose the wrong time to want the Hermes single tour leather bands?

EDIT: Incidentally, if anyone knows where to get a new sealed Hermes Noir single tour(44mm) band, please let me know! (or the Fauve)

I’ve got the very same questions running through my mind..

I remember the Noir watch and band selling out crazy fast like November and I thought maybe it was only meant to be a limited run but then they came back in Australia and then the 44mm Watch is back in the US, I see. They must just say “we’re only making x amount this year” and I guess they hadn’t quite produced all the 44mm yet or it’s just being snapped up by people who fit the 40mm profile?

As someone who will eventually splurge for the feu epsom and maybe fauve barenia, I’m telling myself they will be back in the fall as a core/evergreen Hermès offering alongside whatever is the new iteration of racing glove/nautical tattoo variant...though I wouldn’t mind snapping up this gently used feu epsom one on eBay for $300 as I already have the delicious orange box and inlet (a lovely fancy new word introduced to me by the seller).

I share your regret (it was available and I looked at the pics and I said, "it's lovely, but I shouldn't let myself spend that much on a band"), and the hope Apple will eventually do something in the same vein.

Some bands it makes sense though — imo. The SBSSLB for me is a prime example.

Hermes Australia has all the Fauve Barénia bands (single tour in both sizes, double tour and deployment buckle). Also the black watch in all three options.

I see the fauve and the watches, but I'm looking for the noir/black band only. And also, not the deployment buckle version, just the regular buckle, single tour with black lugs.

I really would rather not buy the whole watch to get just that band...

There’s one on eBay now. I do not what they sold for new so I cannot comment on the price.

Apple's price is $339 USD (still listed on Apple's site, just hasn't been available to purchase for quite some time: Apple Watch Hermès - 44mm Noir Swift Leather Single Tour). I see 3 in the first page of eBay search results, ranging in price from $640 to $999 (and the $640 is from an individual with 66 feedback and "only" 95% of it positive). I'd be fairly leery of spending that much on eBay on a band that's in high demand with plenty of known fakes out there - there is very high motivation for someone to try to pass off a readily available $20 fake as the real thing.

Agreed, I would not touch any of those.

THIS...AND... I have purchased many sport loops and sports bands because the material is such that I can clean them. Also, if I get one that I feel was not as described, I'm out 20 to 50 dollars.

Leather is so personal though, it' a different material and many things can affect the longevity, including sweat, lotions, hand sanitizers and without knowing what's happened to those bands that are open, I'm not comfortable spending 300 to 500 dollars on them. I'm more willing to pay retail for a new and sealed box on the nice leather bands... maybe that's crazy...and maybe I'm just out of luck on that Noir band...
