...and maybe I'm just out of luck on that Noir band...
At best, since the next season of bands has yet to be announced, it's possible, though unlikely, that they'll make a new batch of the Noir Swift bands. Or they may bring it back in the future, since "basic black" never goes out of style. But I'm not holding my breath.

I see the fauve and the watches, but I'm looking for the noir/black band only. And also, not the deployment buckle version, just the regular buckle, single tour with black lugs.

I really would rather not buy the whole watch to get just that band...

You said ...(or the Fauve), which is why I posted.

I actually think you might be able to sell the black sport band and the watch itself separately for enough to justify the whole thing for the band. Look how much The Lux Group list them for on eBay. There are people on here who have said recently they want the black sport band

My current collection. My favorites are Pine Green, Midnight Blue, and Pomegranate. I really want to add the Product Red Sport loop next.

Exactly that. I was perfectly happy with 24 when I found this thread a few months ago. Now I have 49 and I’m less happy. My wife has gone from 22 to 40+ in that time also, and she doesn’t even come on here.
This. This Exactly.

Those 49 and 40+..... Are they all genuine bands?

Absolutely. Mostly sport or Nike sport bands, a couple of leather loops for me, a couple of nylon buckles each, a couple of Hermes, stainless link for me and stainless Milanese for my wife, and a couple of classic buckles. No sport loops as neither of us liked the ones we got with our S3 watches, and we sold the watches with them when the S4 launched.

I’ve never tried a third party band and don’t have any real desire to.

Pomegranate (40mm) first band to sell out of the bunch ahead of the new release. who's next?

44mm Pomegranate is the only one sold out in the NZ Apple Store on line. I might just order a 40mm or two and put them aside, unopened, as an investment to offset my collecting :)

That’ll be in excess of £5000’s worth of bands if so o_O

I’ve never really thought about that. They mostly hold value pretty well, and as they get older and there are fewer around they might even increase - so long as there are places like this and Apple doesn’t change the way the bands attach to new watches.

I don’t plan to sell them, but they are probably the smartest $5,000 we have spent on Apple products In terms of depreciation. Our MacBook Pros cost more than the bands and are likely worth ½ what we paid for them and only dropping further.

Added a yellow leather loop to my collection bringing myself to a total of 6 bands. I recently upgraded to a SS Series 5 watch and I’m afraid I won’t slow down on new bands now.

What do you guys think a black Hermes Rally and orange Hermes sport band in 42mm, boxed from a series 3 watch, but watch not included is worth? Look to be in very good condition but not unworn. The tan leather of the inside is very clean.

I don’t *think* it’s an elaborate scam to offload a fake Rally with a genuine box and sport band.

I already have an orange sport band, so I’d sell the spare one of those.

I would say if the rallye has the proper maker’s mark embossing on the underside, you’re good to go. How many people are counterfeiting that?

Granted in looking at mine just now they are a little more generic than I remembered. Just a bunch of plain capital letters. Perhaps the “HERMES” legend on the buckle and “Stainless Steel” opposite that are a better thing to go by.

from eBay (now I want one, seeing it not in motorcycle black!):

Thanks. Seller has the box, Hermes orange bag and even the black ribbon. It’s on a site in NZ that effectively is eBay, but it’s local to NZ and somehow got the market leadership some years ago. Nothing dodgy about the site and on there the seller has a reasonably high 100% rating (actually higher than mine in fact).

Anyway I just bought it - assuming it’s genuine, what do you think it’s worth? I’m happy to share what I paid after I get a sense what others would have paid.

There’s an open box feu for $180 on eBay I found just casting about after your post and if it was 42/44, I would have grabbed it. Let’s say I would pay $250, to answer your question.

(Rallye retailed for more than the regular ones right? $400? And I guess add 100 for the sport band if new.)
