Fab thanks! Lucky for me here UK still have that blue one. I didn't have Apple Watch back in 2017 when it was release so miss out that colour. Just order one myself.
Such a shame. There aren’t any available in 42mm!! All the rare bands seem to only be available in 38mm especially on eBay. Apple seems to have some older sport loops on its uk store though

If the UK store will process an order being delivered in the U.K. but paid for with an NZ PayPal account my wife is getting Blue Orbit. It’s not looking good though.

By any chance does anybody have Vitamin C to show how it looks on a SBSS? I would really appreciate :)
this is one from launch week I had lying around. Can make further photos for you...vitamin c is just a pure, born winner for all case colors and materials, folks.

Nike re-released the rarest watch bands in Europe yesterday, and guess which one got sold out immediately?..

This is pretty wild! While scalping sucks, it should flood eBay and lower prices generally? Just a question of how crazy the across the pond shipping charges will be.

I already have Blue Orbit/Blue Gamma, somehow I want it again if it will come in the black box this time. I always wanted Violet Dust/Plum Fog too. Which is now available in the US store.

Were you able to order? Already gone but the old 38 and 42 with the old “Nike+” branding is still there but just a redundant pure platinum/black listing. Would kill for violet dust in 38mm

I'm slightly astounded at these Nike colors coming back - did they find a few a few pallets in the warehouse they forgot to unpack? It's now X number of months past when they released them so they no longer need a reserve for repair/replacement stock? Or did they actually make some new ones? I got the impression, at the time, that the latter option wasn't a thing.

Well for sure they’re clearing out the fall bands. They are starting to give limited stock warnings there, so it might be related to that.

They’ve randomly found ancient bands so many times I think it’s just negligence and a testament to the massive scale of Nike’s operation and the fact that these are products Apple is making and sending to them and prob don’t correspond to anything else in their warehouses and just little flat boxes?

Not only are the colors ancient, the European store got so dairn many, it was surreal for sure.

I FaceTime my mother every Tuesday - so long as they still have stock in another 2-3 hours I'll clear it with her to pay for it as well as receive the order.

They only have Smokey Mauve / Particle Beige in my size. I'm not sure I like it - how similar is it to Violet Dust / Plum Fog? My wife has that one and I really don't care for it.

To me, smokey mauve has this liver-tone quality but the warmth of the particle beige really picks up the watch case better than plum fog

Yeah, I see that. I’m not sure how drawn to a colour described as liver tone I’d be without seeing it, but I definitely see what you mean.

I Googled after my post and came up with a similar image. They aren’t as alike as I had thought. I guess if they don’t sell out before I get the OK then I’ll snag it - I felt similar about Spruce Fog and I really like it as we discussed a few days ago.

Oddly the UK Nike site seems to think it’s Summer 2017 for 38mm; they have pretty much the full set of bands that came out then, including the single season ones. Luckily my wife has all of them other than Blue Orbit so I don‘t have to expose the cost of band collecting too much to my mother :)

Ordered. No idea when they’ll get to NZ as I’m not having my mother going out to post them on. They can stay with her for months if that’s what it takes until she’s safe going out.

still no a normal leather band? c’mon!
Yeah, I wonder if it encourages Hermes sales having no first party leather buckles.

Thank you so much! Quickly grabbed the ones that I didn't have. Hopefully it's not a website error and these bands can arrive for real!

This is amazing! So it wasn't a website error and they actually have stock for these bands! Just got the shipping notification and can't wait to receive these rare bands!

First shot is (L to R) Hyper Grape, Desert Sand/Volt and World Indigo/Lime Blast
Second one is World Indigo on top of Hyper Grape. These two are very close but Hyper Grape has more purple. Obviously 🤓
Great shots...if they persist with this style again in the fall, it will go way beyond “well this is the look that sells so we’re not gonna mess with success” and into pure insanity.

Exactly. Enough already, and also enough already with the two-tone (non-Nike) Sport Loops. Time for something new ...
It would be really nice if the two-tones were just the whimsy of a single calendar year like each pattern of the nylon bands...but I fear they will stick with them out of sheer necessity of iteration and recombination ie they’ve done all the monochrome they can get away with.

I miss Apple's interwoven loops where they blended with a nice subtlety, eg. product red loop gen1, cape cod loop, nectarine loop, etc.

I especially liked the Loops that were mainly one colour but got some 3D-like pop by hints of another colour underneath, like the Cerulean that was mainly blue but had orange undertones, or the Lilac that was mainly burgundy but had subtle yellow undertones. The current Nike ones have some of that pop, I guess, but in a less than subtle way; they should have stopped at Hyper Grape which was by far the best of the bunch.

Come now, Pink Blast loop was a very notable exception!

I have no regrets about any of those purchases, I like them all. That said, I could get behind a change on the Nike Sport Loops. Nike Sport Bands haven't really changed other than the colors and even with those, it'd be nice to get some variety. The Sport Loops have more room to get creative with the design. The reflective material used is something I appreciate. Subtle enough in daylight and reflective at night when needed.

Cape Cod Blue has become one of my favorites and while I like the almost monotone look, I definitely prefer having multiple and somewhat contrasting colors. Like Cerulean or Indigo as two examples, both of which I really enjoy.

I'm not sure what other than the colours would make a good change, but there is still a massive range of colours we could have in the current design - we have nothing in red, nor orange as just two examples, and with the contrasting holes there's a lot of scope to address that in different ways.
