Can confirm the surf blue sport band has a special almost phosphorescent quality in the dark, as per YouTube Juan, bright but still blue. Would like to see a night comparison with blue g1 but I imagine it washes out similar to cornflower. This effect does leave the band with a lack of punch in daylight as people said upthread.

No that one she hasn’t shipped yet, but the Redditor talked to her and said she’s just dumping it cheap because of the current situation so I trust it’s legit. This one I ordered from Apple before finding that listing.
iPhone 11 but Night Mode made the blue g2 look too good so I trashed that photo. I just took it in my dark kitchen with the faint glow of an LED garden thingy blasting from the other side of the island, off the ground a few feet. I also trashed a flash one that I‘m not sure illustrates anything different than the day time shot but I recovered it and I’ll add it here. The flash really penetrates in a watery way that it just doesn’t with the others. Also fwiw this band feels very thin and less sturdy hanging off the watch, I bet its particular chemical makeup is tied to the glowy goodness. I really don’t think it’s some kind of virus QA drop-off. Reminds me of my light violet Nike, which is thinner than the visually similar barely rose which is super chunky feeling.
Hahaha the Blue Orbit one (of course), and also the Violet Dust, which was the only Nike band that I didn’t get from that season... my watch is 40mm though.

if anyone sees or finds a 38/40 mm barely rose nike sport band let me know (it was one of the bands i lost and cant seem to find a good one online)

In these times, it really is unfortunate (and confusing) that Nike's Canada-facing online store has never had any Apple Watch product whatsoever (to-date).

it probably is! Just ordered it along with the cargo khaki to find out... my obsidian/black band is already quite old anyways...

I really wish they put the pearl pink look back in stock for 38mm... that’s the only nike sport loop that I don’t have.
it was simply “Obsidian”... but about the same time when the band got released, they added a color for the Nike watch faces with the name “indigo”. I guess they referred to the same thing.

I’ll keep an eye on Nike’s website... I’m looking for a Barely Rose/Pearl Pink Sport Band as well... if it ever gets available I can send you a DM.
Ok you‘re right I’m totally thinking of the watch face which I’ve been seeing a lot as a new owner of the band
Normally they add new watch face colors corresponding to the bands of the season, however there are indeed some exceptions... really wish they would release some bands with the watch face colors like Terra Blush, Wolf Gray or Total Orange...
Aurora Green has been a watch face color for Nike for a long time and we finally got the band in this season, so there’s hope!
I got a total orange jacket and total orange basketball shoes recently in anticipation of total orange heaven’s gate kool-aid—I mean Apple Watch Nike sport band
