This is awesome! I just love the older brightly colored styles. My favorite of my collection was also from the 96 Olympics but it looks like a running track (I’m a runner).
Do you happen to know why my watch has pink/orange for the face? I googled last night to see if it happened to be worth anything, and the other Atlanta volunteer watches I found had the same bands but green/blue faces/hands.

I’ve only been buying my bands used, highest I’ve paid for one so far is $35. Well no, I’ve bought dragon fruit for $49, but the rest around $10-$30. Anyway.. if I were to have $50 to get a new spring 2020 band which ONE would you get? And let’s say one choice for sport band, and one choice from sport loop collection.

Hmm. Good question. I only collect sport bands so I can’t speak to the loops but I have grapefruit and I like it a lot. It’s like a more saturated version of pink sand. Here is a photo by the window (overcast daylight). I am hoping surf blue comes today and I can post a photo of that and make a determination of which I would prefer if I HAD to choose. Ultimately I think it would depend also on what other bands you have.

Im in the same boat. I think the most I’ve paid for any single band was $40, for a NIB Flash. Otherwise, all my NIB bands have been either gifts or really lucky finds.
For Sport bands, I’d say Surf or Cactus. I personally don’t have either, but looking at the photos I can’t see why I didn’t get them. If you’re into Nike bands, Midnight Turquoise is a safe bet as it goes with pretty much anything. That’s the only one I have from this collection. As for loops, I’d stay away from the Nike loops. They’re all just black with slight color differences now. Maybe Sunshine or Vitamin C.
Glad you said this. I’m actually heavily weighing towards grapefruit. (Idk why?!?) I think it’ll look great with my gold watch. I love al the surf blue pics, I don’t have a bright blue but I also don’t wear blue much either so..
Grapefruit is too similar to older releases imo. I have Vintage Rose, and it looks nearly identical to all the photos of Grapefruit I’ve seen. Also, there’s an eBay seller with Flamingo selling them for $20. That’s a large discount for nearly the same color.

Ok, Grapefruit came in and it‘s lovely. I shall call it Pale Flamingo henceforth.

Agreed...I got to demo grapefruit in the home because of the shipping error and it really doesn’t set itself apart, but I can’t blame them for dropping it because it has been forever since those bands mentioned. I just kinda expected it to have some magical light-shifting quality like surf blue does and cactus seems to have.
@Fhotofaerie For your gold I would recommend surf and vitamin c. I ended up not loving sunshine on my gold.

Vitamin C is where I’m likely to go, only worry is it’ll look too, manly? I love gray, and orange though I’m not sure why I’m worried. I love looking at the sunshine but don’t think it’ll get much love from me personally. Thanks everyone for letting me hijack the thread here 😛

The subreddit was private for the past 4+ years until I picked it up through a request program. Totally forgot I had it until the topic was brought up again... oops.
i got it mostly for the orange properties and was a little sad at how drab the interior colors are, and I would say yeah it could make it too manly.

I would second the Vitamin C recommendations. Easily my favorite color of the season in loops. For bands, Cactus is just such an awesome color. I hated it when I ordered the color for my iPad Pro case. But I LOVE it in sport band form.
I am actually working on a 3D print CAD for a new watchband holder so I decided to lay out the collection. I am missing a handful I own that aren’t pictured (dragonfruit/spearmint and a handful of Nike releases). I laid them all out to measure and count and was kind of taken aback by the count. Whoops!
