Geez man! I’ve only got money to spend if I sell something else I own. Don’t need any more debt but still need cool things.. means I miss out sometimes though. Just gotta stop looking.. then I won’t know what I’m missing. I’m still burned I missed a cape cod sport loop new with box for under $40 on Mercari. Didn’t even last an hour, I sent an offer and took a shower, came back and someone bought it full asking. Bah
Mercari is crazy these days. I don’t think I’ve ever been able to catch a good listing for myself in bands or anything else I’m into. I posted a link to a cornflower leather loop for $65 to the deal thread the other day, and that was probably the one and only time I caught a listing quick enough to do so. It’s fun to see what sold/was missed sometimes. But I’m with you... it can be a bummer!
I’ve gotten a couple deals on there. But the speed of which they move seemed to grow real fast real quick. Did get a pretty cheap smokey mauve sport loop in box. Cheap Hibiscus too.
Reminds me of the time I found a NIB sealed 4th gen blue (don’t remember specific name) Classic buckle for $16 on Mercari. Flipped it on eBay for $80 the day it came.
Oof. $16 is a good price for any leather band in general. Must’ve really not realized what they had.

Meh, I have by doubts. Look like prototype leather loops, yet they have 44mm badging? Leather loops would’ve been made back on the original S0, and any prototypes should have 42mm badging (if any at all- why would Apple spend money badging items for internal use?)
Regardless, would still be cool to have those. How much are they asking for?

For that price, you should get all of them.
No way they’re fake. If they were fakes, why would you go through the trouble of putting the “genuine leather” stamp (which looks very very spot on to OEM Apple) on an obvious look-alike?

Buy 2- if they’re experimental units, get one to cut open and see what’s inside. It could just be magnets, or there might be some smart feature on the inside. Why would the magnets need to be so huge?
They send me a video, the magnets are so strong. The "click" assembling sound is pretty similar to that of my leather loop.
They're shipping them to the shop. As long as they're available I'll buy one or two.

The 2-tone (edge/face) on some of them is interesting. They sort of did it with the Meyer LL, as it had a near-white edge. That’s what makes me believe that they may indeed be legit. Not so sure I’m a fan of the change to a more “bubbly” sort of form with the surface texture being so raised for the magnets.
lol sorry I should have been more precise! I think it has too much red that overpowers the other colours. I prefer the look of the older one. Although I don’t have any Nike bands I would definitely buy that one you described!

Haha don’t get me wrong. I do like bright colour. That band just reads as a bit too red to me.
Hi, can you maybe post the video to youtube or somewhere else? I don‘t quite understand the way these would work on the Watch. These are apparently not „loops“ at all. Would one part just slap on top of the other?
Does anyone have a spreadsheet or checklist that mirrors the most updated image guide? I was going to make my own to start keeping track of things a bit better but I figured I’d ask around here first Just in case.
Dont have one for every watch band made, but I made one to keep track of which bands I have. It lists the band name, release date, if I have the box and all pieces, how much I paid for it, and what the recent average price is. I regret making it though. Turns out, I’ve spent a lot of money on bands...
Someone does. With serial numbers etc. They post it occasionally.
Noticed you’ve got Raspberry Red SB! Is that Red v1 beside it?
I like the idea of a list but NOT the price I paid lol - that would depress me. Though that’s a good idea if you wanted to sell them later.
