Bought a watch on ebay with it.

Added a 3rd party band and resold the watch.

If I found a NikeLab Watch, I don’t think I could separate it from it’s band. That’s *the* rarest Apple Watch made. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure they even sold more 18k yellow gold and rose gold editions than the NikeLab.

Top to bottom:
Spruce Fog / Vintage Lichen
Light Bone / Black
Desert Sand / Black
Pure Platinum / White

Desert sand is slightly browner than Bone.
Insanely helpful. Not to my soul or anything. But that clears that up!

I think I’m safe not owning for now... Desert Sand and platinum are already so hard to distinguish on the wrist. This is another level in between.

Speaking of Nike Bands, can anyone tell the future? How rare do you think Midnight Turquoise will become? There’s one on eBay for $30 right now and I’m thinking of getting a second one to resell later if it has a chance to become a $60+ color.

I just posted the whole collection a few posts up.

I believe I have ALL of the sport bands.
Ahh, sorry, I didn’t make the connection. I nominate you as the official reference provider for Sport Band comparisons then :)
I look at Watch listings just for that reason!
Me too - that’s why I ended up separating an S4 Hermes from its leather band a couple of weeks ago.

Rare and collectible is an interesting thing. If something is too rare it’s not well known enough to be collectible.

I honestly don’t remember the NikeLab Watch being launched despite being a bit Apple fan from way before the Watch was a thing and having an S0 from day 1. Add to that that (I think) it’s just a SG S2 Nike with a not available separately band and I don’t know if it’s highly valuable. Or does it have unique naming on the back? If not then any S2 SG Nike is the same, and they are probably worth 50 cents nowadays.

Exactly what I thought. I have store credit with Chargerstore right now (ordered Cornflower but it was sold out and listing still up by mistake), so I’m very happy I wasn’t tempted to put it in the Light Bone direction.

Only difference is the NikeLab has the Light Bone color programmed into it, like the other Nike colors.

How much for the whole collection.
I’d make you an offer but I’d feel bad your Watch would fall off your wrist after I have all your bands :)

Seriously though it’s got to be worth several thousand dollars. Someone liquidated a full set a few months back by selling individually on eBay and I’m guessing that went for a fair bit. They’d be worth more individually than as a whole lot I think, but if I was somewhere that selling off the doubles makes more sense than New Zealand I’d be open to a serious conversation about the whole thing if you were serious. To be clear I am in New Zealand and the cost of shipping it here and then me shipping doubles to overseas buyers rules it out.

So, I have asked if I can transfer my store credit to Concrete, and I have bought a few more in the orange / pink range for my wife’s collection. And it’s only money so I think I’ll add Grey also.

With the shipping costs from US / Europe Chargerstore actually works out quite cost effectively for me in comparison to you guys now I think of it.

You’ll be happy with them both! Love them. Even Stone is growing on me these days. I picked mine up a bit back on a ridiculous no reserve eBay auction (like $3 shipped) and never really paid attention to it. More of a brown graY but it goes well with the SBSS.

I, too, bought stone for about $3. Also on a no reserve auction. Someone with a marble counter.

Those are my favorite auctions. I have a list of bands I would ONLY buy $5 and under. That was one of them. I think we all have those in our minds.

Mine was slightly discolored, so I think I gave it to a friend. Ended up finding another NIB for about $12 though, so it worked out.

I bought Stone with my SS Watch (which is not an especially good combo) as it was the only band available with it neither I nor my wife already had (besides the newer Product Red and Black, which I got with my SBSS). I wore it once with the SS and haven’t tried it with my SBSS, but I’ll give it a go.

To my eye Gen1 and Gen2 Black aren’t as different as they look in your photo, so I’m expecting Grey and Concrete to perhaps be a bit darker, which might make Concrete good for what I’m after.

I also tried Dark Olive on SBSS, but not feeling that much.

If I have time later I might go through all my Sport Bands putting half on SS and half on SBSS and taking a photo in good light. I can post them if that’s of interest to anyone. I want to do all in one session so the light stays the same. Might manage some of my wife’s 38/40s on my 44 Watches also.

For my US friends, I have some listings you may be interested in.

This OfferUp seller has many bands with different color pins for sale at $25 each:

First & Second gen Pink Sand
What appears to be Fog
First & Second gen Black
Stone maybe
Along with various Nike bands

I’m looking for comparisons in the gray scale of sport bands.

I want something that contrasts a bit with SBSS. I have Fog (too much) and gen 2 Black (not enough). How do Concrete, Gray etc. fit in? Pics on SBSS or SG especially useful.

I’m all for grayscale with SBSS.. and I think contrast is great actually!

Nike doesn’t do summer releases often. In fact, they’ve only ever done one, in 2017. Therefore, fewer chance of one this year. Who knows, though.

Also, I’m pretty sure Apple will keep with the dual tone. Seems to be the new normal, despite what we all want. tsk tsk.

Here are my thoughts. Since Nike does not do summer releases often, I am thinking since this last batch of colors never made it into an actual store, only online sales, that there is even less of a chance of having new colors this summer. 😢Of course, I could very well be wrong.

Don’t take this the wrong way, but I hope you have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about and that you’re wrong.

My addiction requires new summer colors, darn it!
