I actually like the Sport Pride better than the Nike Pride now that I have seen both in person.

Left to Right: Nike Royal Pulse, Nike Pride, Sport Pride, Sport Grapefruit

EDIT: Pictures of Pride bands on Nike Silver Aluminum.

I totally agree with you. When I first saw them to order, I was more excited to get the Nike and once I received them, I actually prefer the striped sports band. The color in the holes just do not pop enough.

Glad I ordered both. The more irl pictures I see, the more I start to like both equally, maybe the non-nike one a liiiittle bit more. Definitely going to be wearing the nike more, though.

Would someone like to part with their 42/44 mm canary yellow? 😁 sell to me before @mikedop haha
Whoops! Sorry guys, but @sahni130 has disappeared from earth. Now, anyone selling Canary?

I‘m also happy to pic up the papaya new for 19€ a few month ago.
also the ultra violet for 29€.
here is a Power reseller who sell the bands from older Generations for a Good Price. The rare ones are sometimes not the populary ones. So they are Stil in store and get a lower price. Nice For me.
Sorry for my Bad english.

Combined cost of Papaya and Ultra Violet here is about €170.

I'm so jealous!

I saw people mentioning Papaya here, and that's one of my favs.

I was really on the fence about buying Papaya, but I loved it in person so I ended up buying it at the Apple store (attached). At the time I wasn't sure if I'd wear it enough to spend $50. It's my only orange and it's perfect to me.

Ultraviolet was another I was on the fence about buying, and I ended up not buying it. Of course now I regret it. Yours looks awesome! If there's ever a "different" color than what I have (I have a few different blues and greens), and I do want to get it, now I just budget to buy it, because it's such a hassle after the color isn't sold anymore.
I think buying the bands you like when they are available, if you have the budget for it, is definitely the way to go as there can be such a premium on them after. On the other hand, if you’re patient and enjoy the hunt, you can score some really great deals after they’ve been discontinued but generally I’m not that patient lol.

Here the same. But sometimes you make a Good Deal.
i only collect Bands with collors i like and very Important for a good price. To get a rare band is half of the Story, to get it by a Good price is the other one.
For myself collecting is more enjoyable as a mix of impulse and patience... Having a nearly complete set of sport bands is arguably better than finding that last one! When I look back some of the bands I consider rarest were incredible bargains, and brand new boxed: Red Raspberry, Mellow Yellow, Peach and Close Your Rings all under £20!

Hi, I'm following this thread already for quite a while. Since there a now so many different watch bands and colors out there, I would like to create a simple (& free) iOS app that contains all watch bands ever shipped. Similar to MacTracker but specifically for Apple Watch bands.

Does anybody here know from where I could get high res pictures of all the watch bands? Similar to this great list of emiaj but in a bit higher resolution?

Do you like the idea of a watch band database app?

Do we like the idea?! Absolutely!

I can’t really suggest a source for hi res pictures unfortunately. Apple’s look to be reasonably hi res for the zoomed in shots, but even if they are good enough it might be difficult to get hold of the ones they used for discontinued colours.

Great idea!

If this pans out, please include a way to checkmark the bands one has in one‘s own collection.

This is the plan :)

Internet Archive?
Yes, I already tried this. It is quite tedious and the resolutions that I found there are not so great. I thought there might be already somewhere a better archive that I'm not aware of.

I’m SURE there are people in this thread who would help by taking and sending you high res pictures of the bands.

If you go that route, you should specify a background color, and maybe even a lighting temperature.
