What did you get?

Personally I wasn’t so keen on it and like it much better on my SBSS, though it looks fine, definitely not something anyone is going to think is bad.

Cool, my attempt are creating a reference thread is being used :)

Fantastic work. I have not a single artistic bone in my body and I am so impressed that others can do this, and pleased you take the time to do it for bands.

That’s an excellent reference for the minimal difference between Gen 1 and Gen 2 Midnight. My Gen 2 (silver pin) is marked 42mm - I assume it was “for” an S3 post S4 launch.

I’m gonna say Pollen. I don’t think it’s strong enough for Canary and it’s a lot stronger than Lemon Cream (which is still available in NZ, and I am jacking up a possible buy of bands from Apple NZ for US peeps with @toxtrepia if anyone wants any. Check apple.com/NZ for availability. They also have Mallow Yellow in both sizes.)
Incidentally, lemon cream is still in stock at select Micro Centers in the US for in store pickup. For those who are looking and to save room in the order for those bands that literally aren’t in the US anymore.

Huge update of the chart is now available: v3.1; June 12, 2020
  • Bands added: Sport Band Linen Blue, Seafoam, Vitamin C, and Coastal Gray; Sport Band White (2nd Gen)
  • Images added: Nylon Woven Pride Edition (2016), Hermès Double Tour Médor Deep Blue, and Hermès Single Tour Étain
  • All model numbers revised (and added for both sizes), very few numbers and dates corrected, new icon for photoshopped images and extra large bands if available, a few design tweaks
Special thanks to @emiaj for providing the three images, which were missing in the initial release. Comments, requests (or if you find a typo) are welcome and appreciated.

Freely available at bandbreite.watch

thanks so much for keeping this up to date.

is there a legend or key which explains what all the little symbols mean?

there used to be a key in the old chart explaining these.

I’m not sure about the watch icon, but I think the dots reference different pin colors.

I was going to say pollen, but then I didn't want to muddy the waters. but to me, that looks like pollen

P.S. You can preview the (multi-page) chart in Augmented Reality. Because why not? :) Open the website using Safari on iPhone or iPad, scroll down, and enjoy.

It was fun to make, and I am curious how it works for somebody else. If you have a minute left, let me know. Thanks.

The AR feature is neat. I tried it out.

The watch icon means the band was only available as part of a watch bundle (I think). And I think you’re right about the dots. The new plus means it’s available in XL size.

This didn't take long. Look at how straight and perfect the lines are

Maybie the line are only Print on.

That thing is faker than a $3 bill. Don’t you think it would be easier to fake the band by doing the irregular lines? Seems that would be easier and require less effort.

Just curious, which iPhone do you guys have? a little embarrassed I’ve never experienced FaceID, and my TouchID stopped working a few days ago.
I have an 11 Pro Max in space grey. Love the large screen and it matches perfectly with my space black SS watch.

I was thinking most of the icons are self-explanatory, but I might add the legend to the chart in an upcoming update. I hope this overview will help you until then.

Just wondering if anyone could please post a photo of the Deep Sea Blue Modern Buckle?

I’m debating whether I can justify $239 AUD or not. Seems expensive but the colour on the Apple Store App is gorgeous.

thank you in advance :)

Ah that makes sense, didn't know what the icon with the clock on the watch was. I think it would be a good idea to include the key at the bottom on the chart, even if it's only small.

I miss Classic Buckles.

I just want some of the best classic buckle colors in leather loops. There were some really awesome colors in that run.

One of the problems I have with them are keeping them looking new. Leather Loops and Modern Buckles don’t show leather creasing almost at all. Classic buckles show after a wear or two.

Hey, does anyone know of any fakes that copy the printing? Like the “44mm” and “assembled in China” on the sides, “S/M & M/L,” “Watch|Nike+” etc?

I have a brown (like, actual brown) sports band I bought in feb 2016... has the S/M & M/L and 38mm markings... no assembled in China though and the pin gives me slight irritation like other fakes. At the time they did every colour of sports band made until that point, plus this random brown.

The store was purged from taobao though (so my order history went with it) and I never found it again.

Can you throw up some photos if you have the time?
