I am super jealous of the mellow yellow! It’s the ONLY yellow I am missing at this point. Playing the waiting game now....

I have 2 x Mellow Yellow 44mm unopened (Apple NZ still has them in stock).

My Coastal is very difficult to slide in, so, I ordered another. Hope the new one is good, or both will be returned. I say the new factory is a big fail.

I just thought, have any of you guys who have had dodgy band checked the box to see where they were made? My new ones are find and they still say “made in China”. Do yours say “made in Vietnam”?

all apple watch bands should say assembled in china, not made in china.

Online searching for bands can be frustrating... I found a few I was interested in, both stores in Canada and no shipping to US.... Argh!!!!!! One of them doesn’t ship to Quebec, I know I must be missing some knowledge of Canada commerce on that one.... oh well, time to continue the hunt/chase.......

I bought them with a view to perhaps making some profit in the future, but in the spirit of this community I'd need to cover costs. I don't know how many more Apple would let me buy - I bought one for myself, then I bought 2 more and they were OK. Maybe they won't care as it's clearly old stock and it's hard to find on their website, but back when the S0 came out I had orders for one of each colour cancelled by Apple on the grounds they thought I was bulk buying or some such, and I had to buy them individually.

Shipping NZ to US is not hard, but it is a cost, and they work out around US$57 each as they are NZ$89 retail.

IF we do this it would be easier maybe to take the approach of the way @iChernov did it from Germany.

Nice! I’ve been looking at this yellow thinking, I hope it doesn’t ever discolor! (like I’ve seen white do) I wouldn’t mind having a backup if I saw another.

Apple NZ has most colours back to the Pine / Alaskan era - Lemon Cream, Beryl, Desert Sand, Royal Pulse etc. (but not Pomegranate) as well as the Mellow Yellow anomaly listed under "Recommended Accessories' only. apple.com/nz will let you see what they have.

If there is any interest real then I'd be prepared to order on behalf and ship, not to make money, just to cover my outlay for some good karma. I can receive funds through PayPal, the caveat being I have had orders cancelled in the early days of the Watch when I tried to order one of each colour. I think / hope it's a bit more reasonable now, but there is always the risk an order would get knocked back. Obviously I'd refund if that happened.

I wasn't close to how @iChernov and @toxtrepla handled their shipping arrangement / spreading the cost of shipping among the participants, but if someone is willing to receive all of them on the US end then I can take orders for a few days by DM and place one order with Apple NZ. I'm not against sending to other countries, but I don't want to end up mailing eleventy-seven separate packages, so one shipment per country to a hub recipient.

Lastly @mikedop has called dibs on one of the Mellow Yellows I have, and I'm holding back the other until someone else confirms if they want it, so everything has to be ordered from Apple.
