No, they're very different. The Apple "orange" was far more reddish while the Hermes is much more what you'd expect a "real" orange band to look like.
wow very cool. I was wondering why Wikipedia did not have a timeline for the bands. But his is pretty much what I was looking for.
I found that there's two blue version of the sport band. Not like the green which stands in the same line, is the blue sport band changed color in 09. 2015?
Yes it changed very slightly to a lighter shade in the September 2015 update.

I'm happy I got the Green Sport band before it was retired. I wonder if it was retired so it wouldn't compete or clash with Nike Volt.
I just found out there is a Sky Blue sports band. I am surprised it is not on there. It looks close to a cyan color.
That is already included. The OP's chart correctly shows the original bundled blue (which was also sold separately), and then it being discontinued in September 2015 and replaced with the lighter shade. It was never officially called 'sky blue'.
Butter up your local store employees, someone returned a Hermes watch and didn't touch the sports band that's how I got mine
Yea thats probably a one in a million shot also most likely highly against apple policy, not to mention I personally would have no interest in the band unless I had the Hermés edition. Pointless without the faces to me.

I think the newer one is the sky blue as well. Does anyone know the model numbers for both of them? I am trying to add them to my collection but with great difficulty.
Look what both came in the mail today! (Launch) Blue, I think, and (Sky) Blue.
I think I like sky more at the moment. But they are both nice. I got both of them for twenty dollars each brand new and sealed on ebay.
