Great work!

The only addition I could think of would be to indicate if a band is only available for one watch size (38 or 42 mm). And maybe you could upload a higher resolution version to Dropbox (or somewhere else). Other than that it's just terrific.

Wow it looks great. I like how you mostly placed the band in Chromatic order, it is an OC thing. The only thing I would do is add the model numbers under each of them. Then release it in highest resolution PDF format possible. That way it would be easy to copy and past the model numbers when your searching for a band.

I was thinking of the model numbers too... but it's kinda hard to find all of them right now. If you can get that info at some place, I'd love to add them to it.

Great Work, my friend! And thanks a bunch for the high-res version!

It would be awesome if you could make the 38/42 designation more precise/differentiated wrt the Hermès Single Tour. Availability is/was as follows:

42 only: Feu, Lime, Bleu Paon, Colvert, Fauve w Deployment Buckle
38 only: Rose Jaipur, Capucine, Anémone
42 and 38: Bleu Agate, Bleu Saphir, Étoupe, Fauve, Noir, Blanc

After eight months or so I have finally tracked down the coveted Royal Blue Sport Band in 42mm. All I can say is after all this time I am a little disappointed. It is not as bright or colorful as it looks in photos. Here are some photos I took with my iPhone 7 plus. A lot of the photos have been color corrected because it either came out too bright or too light than it actually is.

Compared with (April 2015 Launch) Blue and (Fall 2015) Blue.

IMG_2712.JPG

The last is an HDR photo, my skin came out so dark in that one. The band is also a little brighter than it is in real life. I now see why it was discontinued in favor of Ocean and Midnight Blue and later Azure.

Finally a photo of how it appears in media.

I will have to take some more photos of it in the daylight. The studio lights were not cooperating today.

Great photos man, I just found myself a Royal Blue too after looking for months. Crazy how hard it was to find but i agree abou thinking it would be brighter. It's still a great color though.

The 2 blues you have pictured next to the royal, are they the variations of the original blue? I had heard that they were different shades but I had no idea it was that much!

Great work! One other thing you might like to consider is that I'm fairly certain the blue Leather Loop changed shade (or at least name) quite early on, perhaps during the first refresh. It went from Bright Blue to Midnight Blue - or the other way around, I can't quite remember! There was definitely a change though.

Good catch! The original was "Bright Blue" and was significantly brighter/lighter than the later "Midnight Blue". I think the change occured in the fall 2016 refresh, but I'm not quite sure about that.

Hi there,
I just checked the Web Archive... this band has always been named “Midnight Blue” since the original launch of Apple Watch. And according to the pictures on the Apple website history, I couldn’t see color difference either.
Could you provide some more details about this? A picture of a comparison of the two colors you mentioned, for example.
Thanks!

Here's a Reddit thread on the issue: https://www.reddit.com/r/AppleWatch...t_blue_vs_midnight_blue_leather_loop_side_by/

And here's a MR post on initial launch configurations, including a Bright Blue Leather Loop: https://www.macrumors.com/2015/03/09/apple-watch-pricing-549-1049/

I'm fairly sure it changed early on, but can't remember when. It's a small detail, but would be nice to figure it out for the sake of completeness!

Also, there are several review/unboxing vids which show a) the "Bright Blue" designation on the packaging as well as the colour itself which is much brighter/lighter than midnight blue bands. For example:

Thanks! Just figured out that the "Bright Blue" color only existed for one season, it was replaces with Midnight Blue in September 2015.

I have been searching for a royal blue band as well. Where did you find and purchase it?
