It is very interesting they are bringing stone back like they did pebble. That is if the Stone is the same shade.

Really intrigued about the multicolor leather band

Only 3 new Sports: Nectarine, Lavender Gray, and Blue Horizon. But when can you order them? Does not appear live yet.

I think I might just pick up a black to be my third sport loop they’re cheap ish on eBay. $28

I'M TOTALLY GETTING THE SERIES 4!!!!

Woven Nylon is discontinued... Next year's pride edition will be Sport Loop?
Sad to see Classic Buckle being discontinued as well... none of the current bands have a traditional buckle design anymore (I do prefer Modern Buckle over Classic, personally)

The watch band lineup chart is coming soon... I'll update the file once I finish installing all of the GMs in my devices, haha

I love my sport loops but woven nylon is fantastic too

So sad...

Some people thought they’d add a whole new form of band

They didnt, AND they took away one.

I wonder what the rationale was for this? Greed? Way higher margins of sport band and loop vs woven nylon?

Now I’m glad I really went overboard (or feel like I did) and have 5 official woven nylons to switch it up

My orange anthracite arrived a few days ago! really like it! so glad to have an orange variant in woven nylon, sport loop, and sport band now (apricot)

Glad the Nylons are gone IMO. They are too stiff and dirty too easily. I’m still disappointed that the Modern Buckle is only for the smaller Apple Watch. Lastly, I would have loved to have seen that new Forest Green in a Sport band. No new Nike Sports it appears, either. My wallet will be light this month...

Why would you be glad tho? For people that want them?

What did Apple replace them with? If they had a logical superior successor (like sport loop is to sport band, but even then sport band is a different feel and aesthetic and preference thing) I’d say good riddance too.
 
Anybody have an idea how/if Apple can make the “old” 42mm Bands fit on the new, wider 44mm case without leaving an unsightly gap?

Technical Specifications (as per the Apple Store)
Series 3 42mm model - 42.5 x 36.4 x 11.4mm
Series 4 44 mm model - 44 x 38 x 10.7mm

Am I missing something?

How do you know there is a gap? Nothing Apple showed today had signs of a gap and it was stated that all bands work with the Series 4 design. I doubt Apple would leave this unnoticed leaving a gap. Those measurements and the rounded edges of the casing are two different things.

While I'm not glad the woven nylons are gone, my wallet will be staying closed it looks like. I might add one of the new sport loops, but nothing else. I'm surprised at how thin the band lineup looks now, it's a little concerning to me.

It doesn’t make any sense. Feels like a blunder especially with a really cool new Apple Watch 4.

I know @maflynn was looking forward to scooping up a few new bands wonder how he’s feeling rn

That’s true. I hope you’re right. I guess the rounded edges could make a difference.
