Yeah, the Apple Buyback program says they will give me $250 for my SS Series 3, but I think I'll keep it. It's nice to have a second watch to wear when, as you say, you are doing yard work, working out, etc.. If it gets a few nicks and scratches, I don't care.
 
Lavender grey Sport Band only for me. Love the Forest Green colour, but don‘t like/buy leather loops in general.

"Apple Watch Nike+ remains a customer favorite and the new collection features redesigned Nike watch faces, which match to the new band colors, including a Pure Platinum/Black Sport Band and a Summit White Sport Loop with reflective yarn."

The Pure Platinum/Black Sport band is not new, right? Do they mean the pairing with the Watch is new?

EDIT: To clarify, this is the Apple Store 42mm listing (MQWQ2AM) vs the 44mm listing (MTMY2AM).

For some reason am not seeing the Summit White Sport Loop. Anyone have a link to it?

Not right now, lol...the Apple Store online is down again! Getting ready for orders.

The band in question, though, I think is just paired with the Nike Apple Watch in silver...

It's only available bundled with a Nike Watch for now. They'll probably sell it by itself in the next few months, just like they did with the Midnight Fog, Crimson, etc. that were originally only available bundled with a Watch.

Opened and closed the app down to the second. Had the phone preapproval done, so that was ordered almost instantly. Went to my iPad and chose my Apple Watch and within a few minutes, that was done as well. As usual, I hemmed and hawed over which band to get since, well, I have every Sport band, so I chose the Sport Loop with the gold model...delivery still remained the same. Here’s hoping all are delivered next Friday! I’m working from home...I wonder if I should get flowers for the delivery person as a thank you, lol.

40mm space grey GPS for me, with black sport loop, seeing as though I don’t have that band yet! I’d like a stainless steel again but the cost is too high (and would benefit from improved cellular watch plans in the UK, plus I’d have to change to a worse and more data expensive phone network!) Comforted by keeping my precious space black and silver stainless steel originals for smart occasions!

So it’s rather nice to see the announcement of a nectarine sport band too! I can’t help wonder if it would be wiser to hold out for the inevitable satsuma and mango ;-)

It would be cool if you could post comparison pictures of the Nectarine as well as the Horizon with the already released red/blue band that is closest to the new one. As always, from the rendered picture it‘s basically impossible to tell the real hue.

Hahaha! I'll try to finish the chart as soon as possible... Have to be out of town this weekend. I'll PM you the 3 stickers first! ;)

Also, pulled the trigger on the silver stainless steel this time! Can't wait to get it on sep 21!

GUYS! My alarm didn't go off! I ordered my S4 an hour and a half after launch. Uuuuuggggghhhh, my estimate is Oct. 5-12. Dang it! I did order the S4 Aluminum w/ black sport band (I already have a sport loop, and the sport band are good "beat up" bands) as well as a new band, the Storm Grey Sport Loop. I am so mad art myself. Have you guys seen in the past that Apple usually beats those estimates, or are they pretty spot on?

Was all set to order an aluminium series 4 38mm ,and then noticed that for less money I could buy a brand new series 3, sapphire and stainless steel GPS&cellular from John Lewis (special clearance price) discounted to 379GBP. It was a tricky decision, but I’m so used to the heavier SS cases that I’ll enjoy watch OS5 on the previous hardware, and just dream of the new shape. Bonus for my band collection is I now have added the soft-white sport strap! Just must take extra care not to fall over...

I think the stainless steel 38mm series 3 with soft white sport band is the only model currently being heavily discounted at John Lewis. No such luck for 42mm models yet...

Curious why you went Gold? I see Silver pins don’t annoy you (me neither!) just curious. It’s certainly different.

Aside from my first SS which I didn't really like and eventually got rid of, I had a rose gold S2, a new gold S3, and I wanted a gold iPhone X last year, but Apple did not make it. I had to get the gold iPhone 8 Plus bc I wanted the gold watch. Thing is, to me, the silver aluminum looks 'cheap' and space gray is just not 'me.' Regarding the pins on the Sport bands, these are just not seen in great detail or amount. That said, I don't care for any of the bundled bands and have each band's corresponding retail package. I'm weird about it all, lol.

just got an estimated delivery date for my phone too of 9/21, i really dont think it will take a few extra weeks for the watch to get here tbh. Super excited, too bad ill be working 10-530 that day =/
